How you can charge over twice the cost that hak5 sells them for is beyond me. What a ripoff!

Hak5! Brilliant minds!

First purchase from Hak5 was a rubber ducky. Out of the box I could not get it to work. Downloaded firmware again, re-formated the SD and nothing. Contacted Hak5 and went through the Diag procedures they provided. They decided the SD card was bad and sent me another one free of charge. I had zero hopes of this working as I had tried another SD with no change. Turns out Hak5 is smarter than I am. New SD works like a charm. Stuff always happens but the way they handled it made all the difference. Would not hesitate to buy from them again.

The Rubber Ducky is a memory stick lookalike which is not a memory stick but a device which replicates the keystrokes a keyboard would make but at a much higher speed, to communicate with a computer. The object being to search for vulnerabilities in the computer by running short code scripts called Attacks. As the Rubber Ducky has an sd card slot on board you can use an sd card to both apply the attack and to store any information retrieval from the computer. The terminology used: ‘Attack and ‘Penetration’ can be seen as a bit scurrilous but it is this vulnerability the pen test is aimed at establishing so that suitable measures may be taken to plug the gap, so to speak. The Rubber Ducky must be the smallest computer on a stick.

Unfortunately for me the device seems to not be working, I’ve tried to find a solution in my spare time but to no avail.100 euros wasted.

Great product

Although the product looks official, and comes in the correct packaging, there is no hak5 branding stickers on the Rubby Ducky like are pictured on the product photos. This was very disappointing to say the least. Device works as it should, and makes rickrolling much easier. Overall satisfied, just a little peeved about the lack of official branding, when it is clearly shown on the photos.
