The only issue I ran into was with a third‑party battery I purchased separately, which failed after about two years—not the tools themselves. The shared battery system is a big plus: swapping between tools is easy, and extra batteries extend runtime. The tradeoff is that it locks you into the Worx ecosystem. That led me to buy the Worx chainsaw, which was disappointing.
