Good for children
We have not used these for water sports yet, but we have used these for general noise reduction for our 7 year old. We occasionally take her to see children's music concerts and we we always had her try some ear protection (I'm a former musician, and I insist that she has something in her ears at concerts to protect her hearing). Adult sized ear plugs (the squeezy foam type) never fit in her ear well, and we always resorted to clumps of tissues stuck in her ears. These ear plugs fit her little ears much better, and are far more simple to insert and remove than the foam plugs which have to be squished down and then crammed into ears before they expand. Therefore, she wears these much more because they are easy to use. She even started wearing them to play basketball, as she is sensitive to the loud noises like the whistle and the very loud buzzed at the gymnasium. The only thing that could be imporved upon is that these earplugs don't have quite the decibel reduction power of the foam ones, however they still apear to be adequate (certainly better than cramming tissue in an ear), and at least I can get my daughter to readily wear these.

If you're an adult who has never found ear plugs that were small enough...
These are the most perfect ear plugs I have ever come across! I'm an adult with not just small ears, or even child-sized ears, but I apparently have toddler-sized ears. I've tried so many types of ear plugs over the years made for small ears or for children. None stayed in and all were uncomfortable. Then I came across these. These are perfect for blocking out loud noises! These have a perfect fit and depending on how far I stick them in, they block out most sound or some sound--I push them in as much as I want things to be quiet. They fit comfortably in my ears without pain and are easy to insert. They also come with a plastic case so you don't lose them, which is a nice touch.I'm sure these are great for the kids they were intended for, but if you are an adult and feel like you've exhausted every type of ear plug on the market and none have worked for you, try these!

Got these to have a more discrete ear plug option for our 6yo with sensory sensitivities. I like that they come with a little storage box and are sized for children. Adult plug of similar style simply don't fit/stay in the ear for him. That said, I would not provide these to my child to use solo...they would be lost in an instant :)

I would have liked something a little more snug
The plugs were too long/deep for our 6-year old. I had to cut off the tiny part off the top. Also had to chop off the stick a little. Works fairly well in the pool, but comes off after some cannonball action. Overall, I would have liked something a little more snug.

Decent for a toddler.
These do fit my 15 month old, after she had her ear tubes placed. However, they don't always stay in. You have to really work them in there. Good for quick baths, but definitely can't trust them for longer activities. We use silicone wax for that. I like that they come in a little carrying case though.

We have tried many types of ear plugs for my six year old. (He is a great swimmer, does not use any flotation devices or life jackets.) He swims underwater and goes down slides and off diving boards, these ear plugs stay in.

I bought these for my 5 year old for swimming. He also likes to wear a headband to keep the ear plugs in and these are too long that they cause him discomfort.

Ridiculous
My 2 year old wouldn't even wear these. Maybe better for older kids? We were told by our pediatric ENT to get them if he ever went swimming cause he has tubes in his ears.
