Is it max speed 2666 only?** A: 2666 is the maximum official rated speed for DDR4 memory. All of the kits with higher ratings are technically 'overclocked' but with full vendor support. Then you need to go into the BIOS and enable XMP profiles for the memory, which will set it to the speed advertised by the manufacturer.
