The first feature-length film from the acclaimed studio Trigger, creators of Kill la Kill and Little Witch Academia, and director Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann), Promare is a blistering action-adventure that will set your soul on fire! Thirty years has passed since the appearance of the Burnish, a race of flame-wielding mutant beings who destroyed half of the world with fire. When a new group of aggressive mutants calling themselves Mad Burnish appears, the epic battle between Galo Thymos, a new member of the anti-Burnish rescue team Burning Rescue, and Lio Fotia, the leader of Mad Burnish, begins.Bonus Content: Interview with Director Hiroyuki Imaishi Studio TRIGGER Roundtable "Side: Galo" and "Side: Lio" Short Films with English dub Behind the Scenes with the English Cast Trailers

It's good.
The movie was excellent, in my opinion, and the collector's items were fun. Don't expect anything too fancy, and know that the box is cardboard and the case plastic, so wear/corner damage is possible during shipping/on the shelf. I would say that they got the price right for what it is, and the collection matches the feel of the movie - fun.The movie itself is almost nonstop action, and you are kind of thrown into things without any buildup. Think Gurren Lagann, but with the pacing of FLCL. And remember, this was made by TRIGGER. I think non-anime fans could enjoy this movie on english dub, but it may still be confusing for them because of how fast it is and because you need to have the anime type of suspension of disbelief. If you like TRIGGER, I would recommend this movie.

A lot do neat things for an AMAZING movie
I saw Promare on a streaming service and I knew I had to own it. When I saw this amazing collectors edition on here, I knew I had to have it. It comes with so many amazing cute things. I love the little script book, the decal and the poster. My favorite is the little booklet it comes with the characters and information about them. It’s fun to be able look through it as someone who really appreciates art.

Fantastic Film, but Medicore Collector's Edition
I don't think I need to write much about the movie itself - it's awesome, it's Studio Trigger, you're in for a wild, crazy, and fun ride. What I do want to write about is the execution of the Collector's Edition and its contents, which led me to knocking off stars. If you're going to pay a premium for the Collector's Edition, you should get your money's worth! See below! The GOOD:-Like I already said, the movie itself is wonderful. Fully deserves 5 stars out of 5 in isolation.-The extras on the Blu Ray include the two side stories, which are also great!-The OST Soundtrack (which is the full soundtrack, 21 tracks) being included was the main reason swaying me to buy the collector's edition, because it's all jams (but this also shows up in the cons..)-The mini art booklet is a Collector's Edition standard, and it's on par (good!) with what you'd expect. The "mini" poster is also a decent (albeit awkward) size at approx 13" x 16.5".-The inclusion of the full English script is a pretty unique include(as far as I know).-The outer box for everything is great, with raised texture for the Promare title graphic. The NOT SO GOOD:-The blu ray and CD themselves are housed in a cardboard case (with a plastic insert to hold the discs). It has square corners not reinforced by the plastic insert, and the first time you accidentally drop it those corners will get destroyed. I think this should have used the Steelbook to hold the discs (you're already paying twice as much as the steelbook version...). Even a standard blu ray case would have been preferable in my opinion. That being said, the art they chose for the cardboard case is nice(but there's no reason they couldn't have used a standard case with new art).-The Collector's Edition only comes with the Blu Ray, not BRD/DVD combo. Right now, the standard edition BRD/DVD combo is only ~$17. You can't tell me they couldn't have included the DVD in a set that costs almost 3x as much.-The sticker is nice and big, but it's just a standard sticker material, not vinyl or anything. I could see people wanting to put the Promare logo on their car, especially with the nice size, but it would not survive any sort of weather.-My biggest gripe of all was also listed in the pros - the soundtrack. If you don't care about the music, this may seem like a trivial gripe, but bear with me. When the collector's edition became available for pre-order, there wasn't a physical Western market release of the soundtrack, AND it wasn't available to purchase digitally in the US. Your only option to buy the Soundtrack was the Japanese release physical disc, which clocked in at about $40 (and still does). That made the Collector's Edition VERY appealing, costing just a little more than the soundtrack for the collector's edition of the film with other extras. However, now that the film has dropped, a standard Western edition physical CD has released as well, at just $11! That low cost for the CD separately chops a huge chunk of the "value" off of the Collector's Edition.Combine the now-available CD cost with my previous comment about the DVD, and you can buy the standard edition DVD + BluRay + Soundtrack CD for just under $30. When you look at it that way, you're paying almost a $20 premium for the fancy box and a few physical extras MINUS the DVD version. So, you just need to decide if that is worth it to you! If so, this collector's edition will make you very happy! If not, you're probably better off buying the individual components. I don't regret this purchase, but I had known what I know know, I probably would have opted to just buy the Standard Edition + Soundtrack separately and save myself some money (AND have a DVD viewing option available). If I could, I'd give this a 3.5 stars / 5.

Promare time!
Received this today, and its amazing! They all fit conveniently in a blu-ray box, so you don't have to worry about having pieces everywhere. Everything is in great condition, and I love the movie and the soundtrack so the fact that this set comes with both and for a great price, is a steal! and they also have added bonuses so that's great!

Great product, bad handling
The product itself is awesome! Just got it and already blown away the extras! The reason I knocked a star off is because the packaging chosen was a bag not a box, so the collector's box of the dvd was cushioned and became dented. Hopefully I can smooth it out

damaged box
Outside box came a little dent in at the corners which is a huge shame because it's a beautiful box otherwise, sent in a bubble mailer but a box would have protected it much better. Other than that, the protect is gorgeous! A lot of attention to detail.

BluRay for the win
This was a purchase for a gift to my niece, and she loved it. The BluRay version looked great on the screen playing through her PS4. She is a big Promare fan and this is a nice addition to her Japanese collection.

Absolutely Stunning!
Really beautifully designed case. Comes with a little art book with some info on the characters. The soundtrack is incredible (though I wish it wasn’t just on a CD 😭)This is one of my favourite movies and I can’t recommend it enough!
