They work for what they do. however the robber band doesn't hold it on well. You'll have to use a piece of paracord to hold it on as well.

Wish I had thought of this first
This product works. However, with a little bit of time, thought,and stuff around the house, I could've done it myself. Inside are two foam pieces (don't throw out your packing material from other things you have bought!). You basically enshroud the faucet in the foam. Outside, it's essentially a plastic bag with a rubberband! So, look aaround you and use discarded stuff yourself. If you don't want to do that, buy this cover for a coupla bucks.

No! You can make this yourself
OMG Really?!? I was about to return this thinking I received an empty package when I realized this IS the faucet cover. I would give 5 stars to the person that created this bc it is an original, but no... This is two pieces of foam inside a plastic bag.That's it. Slide the package over the faucet and secure with the rubber band (which I hope does not disintegrate before spring). My original faucet cover was stolen from the faucet at my front porch, do not think anyone will steal this one. Shoulda read the reviews first.

Works great
Live in NW Florida but these really work well when we get our usually few nights of severely cold. I just put them on when I don't need to use the faucet anymore in that season and don't worry about them. Very easy to use,

Helped keep outside pipe from freezing
We had our outside faucets replaced this year with easier turnoff valves. However, we put these covers on the faucets. In all our Polcar Vortex weather, the pipes were fine.We felt it was a good investment. The cover is simple to place and remove.

As advertised
I am very pleased with the faucet cover. The covers available in the stores did not fit my old-fashioned faucets. People have been asking where I got the slide on faucet cover. It looks so different than those you usually see that they attract attention.

Handy Faucet Covers
So happy I ordered these covers for my outside faucets. It is going to be below 10 degrees tomorrow night, and I sure feel better knowing my faucets are covered.
