I don't like the feel or look of the standard foam shields so thought I'd try this. It's good quality, fits the mic perfectly & well made. Super soft, it serves it's purpose. It reduces plosives & sibilence which I suffer from. There is minimal impact but some on the frequencies in the upper end but nothing drastic & can be compensated for with eq. Overall it makes my voice a little softer which I like. It's good value & quality but most of all it's highly functional & I think looks good. Although it doesn't mention this in the instructions on the packaging, the pop shield will spring back to its original shape if you run it under warm water for about a minute. It took a couple of days to dry out in the conservatory before use.
