5pcs Bird Coop Feed Automatic Poultry Chicken Water Drinking

I like these, but not quite as much as the chicken nipples. These are good as they catch the water in the small cup so it doesn't get into the shavings inside the coop, as well as keep some water in the cup to encourage the chickens to drink it. These do get much more dirty and need to be cleaned more often than the other type. I haven't had any leaking problems with them, but have had them get gunked up.These are good for either small or much bigger birds, (easier to use and hold some water). For regular chickens, I think the nipples do a better job keeping water and drinking spouts fresh and clean. I will still keep these to use on the bucket inside the coop and maybe for turkeys if I end up getting them (they are a bit slower to figure stuff out and might do better with this type/larger size).

Worked well but I really wish this came with a nylon nut to keep it tight. I ended up drilling an undersized hole, wraping the threading in teflon tape and forcing it through. It has held up to leaks so far but I really should have gone to a hardware store and found a nut that would work. Its also important to note it takes a fair amount of pecking to get water to come out so this will not work for chicks.

I think the product is okay, but I paid $5 more for this one in particular because it said it would qualify for Prime and I needed them ASAP (in 2 days), well they came a couple days late even though they guaranteed they be here on a Thursday they didn't show up till a Saturday so there was no reason to spend the extra $5. Also, it states that it's a "5 pack" and I only received 4. Lastly, they didn't make it in time to do the project I wanted to do, but when I did use them, the chickens don't seem to be able to figure out how to use them. Maybe I have the words dumbest chickens though.

It beats having to constantly change water containers due to contamination. Cleaner water healthier birds. Container can be maintained risk free with the potential to modify to an automated continuous water supply line thus reducing manual labor.

These would be a lot better if the yellow 'water levers' were higher. They point down in the cup, almost touching the bottom so there is very little range of motion which equals very mediocre water flow. The chickens prefer a gravity fed waterer over these.

I have had a few issues with them and the quality of water, the water must be super clean and free of debris. Any spec of dust will result in a wet mess as the flow does not shut off.

They work perfect. Didn't take hens long to learn how to use them. Great cups for holding water to drink from, however they do need to be routinely cleaned out as chicken are messy.

These water cups are great if you have good water pressure, first i tried hooking these up to the bottom of a bucket then i installed a long L shape made of large PVC pipe which probably holds about 10 gallons of water with plenty of water pressure! now the birds just touch the yellow part and water comes gushing out.
