We modified this item to run our favorite animated Christmas tree topper. It has 110volt operation, metal gears, and perfect RPM. We fit it into a piece of pvc pipe to slide it on the tree. I experimented with several oils and greases to provide me with the quietist operation. Santa is back in business!
