Haven't you wondered why twist ties that come with plastic bags are so hard to twist? It's the plastic!!! Twist ties used to be encased with paper. I have missed the paper ones for years. Paper twist ties work especially well on the smallest of plastic bags.For some reason I finally thought to check to see if Amazon offered this item.The ties are well packed by this vendor, and I bought them in kraft paper style.This is a return to the past for a product that worked best in its original, paper-covered version. I'm back to enjoying how functional the ties are for securely tying bags. You never could get those plastic ones to be as tight.

These are sturdy and the paper does not fall off when used. I use them for resealing bags of food in the freezer and they work great for that. They are long enough to tie closed french fry bags. I am sure I will find more uses for them.

I really like these. They twist very easily and stay tight. Since I'm using them for my homemade treats it like that the brown "paper" adds that special touch.
