I bought this as a replacement for our Dyson Pure Cool, and it fit perfectly. Installing it was simple and straightforward. Once fitted, I noticed straight away the airflow felt fresher, and the fan was working just as it should again. No strange smells or anything off just clean air.It’s a more affordable alternative to the Dyson-branded filters, but it still does a great job. We’ve got pets and small kids, so having decent filtration is important in our house, and this one holds up well.

I bought this purely because Dyson clearly has a supply chain issue with the OEM part. Not only is the original (that looks like this) discontinued but the replacement model is also out of stock. Seemingly for months.I was hesitant going off-piste with a non-OEM part. Especially as the majority of what you’re paying for with a dyson purifying fan is the filtration system itself. Side by side, the two parts are very very similar. Almost identical.There some very small visible differences in the mesh texture of the filters but not enough to argue with for half the price. The fitting is fine. Eventually. It’s just not as ‘plush’ as the original part but it fits and seems to seal fine.For me, it’s a good alternative. Very close to the original and half the price. That said, I will always buy the OEM part going forward, once back in stock.

This works so well and connects as expected. I previously had an original filter that is all integrated, so you only have it in one piece whereas this one comes in two separate pieces. Which you have to use.It’s literally half the price and works just as well. Great value!

This compatible part is good quality and value for money. It fits perfectly. Both parts fit as they should - just like the original. I would recommend this to anyone who has a compatible Dyson fan to buy this compatible part.

This is not a fit for the HP04. They're designed to fit a narrower tower. The outer filter doesn't even fit without the carbon filter.

They fit perfectly but the paper filter is about 50% less dense then the original, this will definitely affect the performance of the filtration and makes the fan NOTICEABLY louder!!See pictures of the new official filter iv bought (for my other fan) compared to this non original you can see from the light coming through of much the density is different.The carbon filter looks identical to the original one

Apart from a lack of Dyson logo, you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. They fit perfectly into my fan and work great. No complaints and a great value compared to the Dyson official ones that never seem to be in stock anymore.

Really fiddly to fit unlike the originals but after following the advice on another purchaser and fitting the white filters first then the covers it all went in with less fuss.Just remember to reset the machine after filter replacement by holding night mode button for 5 seconds for white filter and hold the direction button for 5 seconds to reset the charcoal filter!
