For the price, you really can't beat these brushes, and they lay down paint rather smoothly. I knew they were cheap, but wasn't concerned about a great finish. Applied stain just fine. However, they fall apart when you try to clean them. Separation of the bristles from the ferrule and the ferrule from the handle.
