Bonder, 44110B, Orly, Base Coats / Nail Treatments

I tried this base coat based on it's mention in a few nail blogs. I was very pleasantly surprised how well it worked to grab the nail polish and has never once had the polish coat bubbled, smeared or streaked. For that alone, it's worth the price. My only issue is at times I've noticed the tips pull back with polish. I did not have top coat on and the polishes had not done that before, so I'm not sure if the Bonder or combination of bonder and polish caused it. I now use this exclusively for base coats, and can recommend. Great stuff!

Okay for some reason nail polish does not like to adhere to my nails. My polish has chipped in less thin 24 hours after a professional manicure or when I do my nails myself. It's pretty maddening. The woman that cuts my hair recommended this stuff, saying how her nails are always in water and it still made her manicure last. Well it worked for me too! I'm so excited. I mean I wouldn't expect it to extend my manicure for a week, but thanks to this stuff, I've made it well beyond 24 hours and I'm happy with that. For me, this is worth buying. If you already get a couple days out of your manicure, well lucky you. But then I also wouldn't recommend this product for you.

The Good: Simply put, when I use this basecoat, I extend the life of my manicure from a day or two to a week plus.The Bad: Some of my friends have tried it and say this doesn't really make a difference for them.The Verdict: It may not work for everyone, but it's definitely worth a try. I love this product!I discovered this basecoat because my favorite two nail salons both use it. My nail polish used to peel off after a day of so after applying, so trying to maintain a manicure wasn't worth the effort. Now, I polish my nails all the time. If you have oily nails, it also helps to wash and dry your hands thoroughly and swab your nails with a cottonball soaked in alcohol before applying polish.

lover this product! i don't know what i did before i had this, but i wont live without it now, lol. i put it on after all of my treatments. then i add this before the polish and i have had my stuff on for 3 wks now. no lie!! i wrk a lot with my hands so this is a big deal. love this stuff. it was nicely pkg..wrapped, stuff with protection and had it shrink wrapped for linkage. Also it is hard to peel off polish, i use to just peel ofc, now i have to use remover. Love this stuff!

This makes your nail polish last so long. It works wonders too if you wash dishes. I totally recommend it. I LOVE painting my nails and heard About this on YouTube. DEFINITELY WORKS WONDERS AT KEEPING YOUR NAIL POLISH ON FOR AN AMAZING AMOUNT OF TIME! !

I was told about this bonder by a friend . I hate painting my nails because they chip in a matter of a few hours . I got this and I have to take my polish off . Yeah I finally found a way to have pretty nails again . And they don't chip ! I will buy this again .

Definitely extends the life of most manicures. Sometimes it makes certain polishes bubble. Not sure why some and not others. Overall a good investment. Dries quickly. I get about 3-4 extra days of wear.

I love this product and wish I knew about it sooner. I use it as a base coat and I really think it does make the polish bond to the nail better and not stain if it is a bright color.

I've been using this for years and still maintain it is the best base coat ever! I never get staining on my nails after taking my polish off and the rubbery texture means the polish never peels either. I've found though that you do need to use a good glossy topcoat like seche vite or HK Girl to get the best wear out of your Mani.Works on both natural and acrylic. The only time I ever use anything else is when I need a peel off base.

Used to eschew home manicures as they never lasted longer than a day without major chipping. Now I wouldn't dream of applying polish without this. Current average length it lasts with this before chipping is 4 days, which for me is extraordinary. The first coat of colour over this never looks as perfectly smooth as without so you always need a second coat but it's well worth it.

Absolutely delighted with this base coat. It smoothed itself on to my nails and the coloured coat applied over it clung on for longer than I'd known before. The ordinary nail polish looked vivid and smooth with this excellent, tough base coat. When my nails were cleaned again, they looked healthy - so much better than with ordinary base coats. I'm not going to buy any other make. The product arrived over a week earlier than the date given. Very impressive.

Not as good as I thought it would be. Despite using this and a top coat of the same make I have found that nail varnish does not last as long as the OPI base and top coat that I also use. It's okay but was hoping (having read other reviews) that it would last a lot longer - varnish starts chipping off after 3 days. Will stick to the OPI which I have found to be much better.

It really works! As in, I apply it before I apply my nail varnish on, and I have gotten five days worth of wear already - and this is with doing housework (cleaning, cooking) and having hands in water. The only drawback is that it doesn't seem to protect the nails from staining (with dark polish), which is annoying.
