Showa 306 Latex Coated Waterproof Work Gripper Gloves - 9/Extra Large

These gloves do have good grip and I am happy to have something that actually fits my hands.But in the 8th day of using them at work it began to fall apart. First the grip becomes much smoother as if it had been sanded down or something then there is holes and tears exposing the knitted under-layer and your hands to liquids that gets inside.Thankfully I am not working with irritants and corrosive materials.So for those that are looking at these gloves pay attention before you buy.IF you don't use work gloves regularly, like doing odd jobs or working in the garden then these are the ones for you.Should you need work gloves and would use them regularly then you should not expect these gloves to last 2 weeks.Your options are A) Buy other gloves that would last or B) Buy many pairs of these gloves then use them as disposable gloves when they fall apart.

Probably partly my fault for not reading the product description correctly and assuming that because they looked very much like waterproof Showa gloves I have used in the past, I made the mistake of thinking these gloves keep my hands dry. I use them for a variety of jobs where my hands get wet and they essentially soak through and become thoroughly uncomfortable within 5-10 mins of use. I still give a decent rating for their intended purposes, they are a functional and comfortable glove, just don't think they will keep your hands dry if the product is made of permeable latex!

I use Showa gloves pretty much all the time. I garden for a living so they get a lot of use. I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PAIR. Less than one month the rubber backing is perishing. Just not good enough. Had that not occurred then I would have been singing their praises as they had been comfortable, flexible, warm and really good to use.

Excellent gloves for general gardening, especially working with wet. I have bought them before and they are tough and last well.
