Having recently changed my listening enviroment around I found that the cables I had were too short so started to look around for some good quality replacements.I have been playing around with Hi-Fi for over 30 years and in that time have owned many different brands and types of speaker cable but have never tried Van Damme , spotted these at a reasonable price and decided to give it a try.As another reviewer stated the cable is quite brittle and hard to strip without damage .I found using a stanley blade best rather than wire strippers.To be honest the fragile nature of the wire did not give me a very positive first impression as its generally a sign of poor quality low grade copper. However Van Damme gets very good reviews so I went ahead and hooked it up to my system.As with a lot of things appearances can be deceptive sound quality is excellent.It gives a nice warm freeflowing and detailed balance with no harshess and simply allows the music through.If i had to pick holes compared to the cable I had used before there was a slight lack of dynamic attack but that cable cost 3 times the price and was silver coated so not really fair to criticise. In isolation the Van Damme performs admirably and in fact after extensive listening I will be buying this brand again for future cabling needs .

Recommended by my speaker manufacturer PMC. I 'downgraded' from chord rumour 4, which worked really well with many speakers from monitor audio, but the not the PMC's. The van damme have taken the edge off the high frequencies and in turn given a more balanced sound from my cyrus, arcam, pmc setup. Pretty inexpensive cable too. I have since added a length to my pmc centre speaker with the same positive results. I will do the same to my surrounds and heights once I feel motivated enough to strip out all the old cable. If you have speakers from PMC you may as well order a pair to try it, this cable really is peanuts.

I have been using these cables for several months now and no complaints. I have a reasonable vintage system that to me sounds quite decent and these cables, which I am using to bi-amp my speakers with, have given me no cause for concern. I'm aware that cables can sound different but unless your system is of serious quality such variation just won't be practically noticed, in my opinion. However, the quality of these is good - regarding materials and production - and I find the sound balanced and neutral. I can't detect any more or less bass or treble, or detail etc. than the Naim cables they replaced. I think they offer good value for money.

Good price ,I changed from studio blue 4mm van damme cable to this shotgun range , bad move lost bottom end and seem to loose the life out of my music, it just wasn't there ,am not an audiophile guy but I could tell the difference, soz guys. This an update, I've been using these cables now for 5 months , oh bugger I've got to eat my words, the shot gun style cable is better, I don't believe in all this running in cable malarkey, my ears did adjust to the sound.I think it was abit of selective hearing because this cable was cheaper, it is nice cable great sound bar 😁

This is a very good quality product. The cable is just 2.5mm2 but you can feel the quality. Thick outer layer protects from damages and it is sufficiently flexible to fit behind cabinets. I have ordered 9m and received 11m. Highly recommended seller and product.

Van Damme es una empresa británica de mucha fama que ha instalado equipos de cables tanto en los estudios de Abbey Road y igualmenteen la BBC. Elegi estos cables por el diámetro de 6mm poco corriente en otras marcas . Encima se puede pedir por el largo necesario , lo queresulta muy practico .Exactamente comó en la imagen los dos cables están bien separados en un recubrimiento grueso de PVC que protege y aislá cada canal perfectamente. Parfait résitant mais pensé à placer un tape avant de le séparersa vaut le prix payé avec la qualité payé pour le hifilivraison rapide en 1 jour et ma 2e commande n'était pas encore partie quand je l'ai recu chez moi lolje vais en racheter d'autre au besoin

Das Kabel ist für diese Preisklasse genau das, was man zu erwarten hat. Gute Qualität, an der richtigen Anlage angeschlossen ausgezeichneter Klang. Kommt aber nicht (eigentlich logisch) nicht wie auf den Fotos vielleicht zu vermuten, abisoliert an. Also Vorsicht beim Arbeiten, durch die 4 mm ist der normal eingestellte Abisolierer zu eng eingestellt.

I ordered this cable based on Hifi pig review, the cable is well made and very impressive looking, I am using it for my two channel setup, initial impression was very flat, but after few hours burn in time it started to open up and sounded very open & detail, I rated four star since it's new, I am sure it's going to sound better once I put more hours, I am very happy overall.

Pour essayer, j'ai commandé 4 m de câbles 6mm Van Damme avec des fiches bananes Nakamichi ...... je les ai reçu aujourd'hui et le résultat est Wouaouuu ...... réception très rapide !

cable utilisé sur un petit systeme vntage enceintes celestion, il donne une belle définition tout en respectant un bon équilibre tonal excellent rapport qualité/prix

ce câble en cuivre pur est bien adapté aux systèmes hi-fi de moyenne gamme ; les meilleurs résultats sont obtenus avec des connecteurs en cuivre pur également (c'est mieux qu' avec le plaqué or ou plaqué rhodium. Du son de très haut niveau sans se ruiner.
