Fun and productivity with this touch-screen Android mini-projector!
I was very impressed with my out-of-box experience when I received my Pond. Unlike most consumer products, the Pond comes with an actual helpful manual that is easy to follow. The components were packed neatly into a handy black carrying case, and all AAA batteries needed were included. It didn't take me long to get the stylus and airmouse working, and get the unit up and running on my desktop - projecting on a beige wall. At about 5 feet back, the projected image is quite bright even in the daytime and provides a screen of about 36 inches - like a large computer display. The focus wheel has some play in it, but it is not hard to get a sharp image with some practice. The unit easily connected to my home-office WiFi so I was able to register it and start downloading some Android apps from the Google Play store. It came pre-loaded with some fun games and useful apps such as YouTube, QuickOffice and Mighty Meeting, plus entertainment apps such as Netflix and Hulu. Hooking the audio output to my stereo system, darkening the room a bit and projecting on to a larger wall space made a pretty nice home theater experience. But the real value was setting up some games for my grandkids when they visit. There are two styluses provided, so we can have a lot of fun.I also plan to try this for my business as a consultant. I think it will be ideal to show slides and other documents in small group or office settings. I can't wait to explore creative ways to use the stylus touch capabilities.

... lives in Costa Rica and we had a very nice karaoke party with it
I bought for a friend that lives in Costa Rica and we had a very nice karaoke party with it, but the main reason he wanted it is he is an English teacher down there and he wanted it for his students assignments etc.

Touch anywhere screen...
So far the kids love it...it comes handy because it's really portable. With a portable bluetooth speaker and a mini tripod you're good to go. Really like the touch anywhere screen capability. Did not give five stars cause there's always room for improvement i.e. software updates.

Decent Product, Steep Price
I had never heard of this little device until I was hard-pressed to find a projector and asked to borrow one from a friend of mine. Very fun piece of tech, somewhat similar to Apple TV, but with the projector included! Wifi compatible. Kind of like a tablet with a built in projector! There are a few of complaints I have with this mini-projector, though. The stylus is rather inaccurate at times and the remote doesn't always signal correctly. The device is not compatible with Apple devices (in my limited experience), even via Bluetooth. Lastly, it is very pricey given its difficulty to navigate (remote/stylus).If you have $600 to spend, it's a decent piece of equipment, but with the remote signal issues and lack of compatibility, a regular projector and an extension cord may be more realistic and problem-free.

Video demo and review: Sharp picture but concept is off.
The media could not be loaded. I really wanted this to work, and it did in some ways, but it's hit or miss.Pros:- Super sharp picture.- Small and compact.- Quiet fan (compared to others).- Batteries are included.- Fast Android system (compared to other Android based TV setups that I've tested)Cons:- Clunky to turn on. The button is very loose and wobbly. Hint: Wait for the fan to turn on... that's how you know it's on. There is no other indicator that it's on, save for the (eventual) flash of welcome screen being projected.- Not very bright. The room has to be very dark (too dark for a business meeting if you're using it for meetings). People need to take notes and they can't do it in a dark room.- Expensive. Projectors are getting cheaper, and I'm surprised this is over $400 (last I checked).- You have to stand in front of it and 'touch' the wall, which is awesome but your shadow gets in the way.- Short power cable.

Great Gadget!
Great Gadget!Great gadget . Although you may connect to other devices as a normal projector, it’s actually a smart device on its own. Love that it’s portable and has built-in wifi. I can stream all my Netflix shows and movies anywhere I go for my family. Projects up to 80”. Great for gaming as well. MY Kids love!!! to play candy crush on the touchscreen on any wall. You have to try it to believe it!!!!!!!!!!. Absolutely my favorite gadget at the moment. :)
