This copper mug is certainly very beautiful and glistens nicely in the right lighting. I purchased the mug with the hammered finish because I like the stipple effect in contrast to a mug with a plain smooth finish. The graceful handle adds to the beauty of the mug and is big enough to place three fingers comfortably within the space of the handle. The lip of the area you drink from is rolled over nicely leaving no sharp edges that you can cut your lips on.The mug is lightweight but it does have a nice weight to it. It is built durable enough to point that I can't flex it at all when I squeezed the sides as hard as I could. The handle is solidly attached and I have no concerns at all that it well come off in my lifetime. I can't tell if the mug is truly unlined as the product description states but I'll find out in time if it develops a nice patina or not. You tell if a copper mug is lined because in time it will continue to stay shiny and won't develop a patina while an unlined mug will.However, all is not well because of a small but careless defect that detracts away some from its beauty. The handle is soldered which allows for a more graceful look than having rivets securing the handle to the mug body. My particular mug wasn't soldered as carefully as I would of liked as evidenced by the handle being slightly crooked and the solder that is used to attach the handle being visible. Its a little difficult to tell by the photos I attached to this review that the handle is crooked but it certainly is. I believe this mug was hand made and want to think that the crooked handle just adds character but it still does bug me a little whenever I look at it.Overall, this mug is very nice to look at except when I look at the crooked handle. Better quality control would made my purchase more enjoyable. It still is beautiful but I'm less apt to display it with my other mugs. I purchased this mug at a discount in exchange for an honest review. It's a nice mug, and the current price is decent if you plan to buy a set ($12.75/each plus shipping, shipping cost per mug goes down the more you buy, e.g. a set of 4 would total apx. $14 a piece -- may change). It's not the absolute highest quality, especially the handle attachments, but still pretty good. My daughter asked for it, and she really likes using it (not for mules, she's 16!).I had gotten a couple other copper mugs (also in exchange for a review) that I think were nicer, but they're also a little more expensive (currently apx. $18) --  Solid Copper Moscow Mule Mug - 16oz Authentic Moscow Mule Mugs with No Inner Linings . I happen to prefer the "classic" smooth surface and style to the barrel-shaped hammered surface of this one, but that's just a matter of taste. I do think this one is lighter weight, which could be a plus or minus depending on your perspective, but to me feels a little cheaper.Bottom line, nice mug for the price - and if you use them for serving mules, they definitely lend a wow factor. As always, I appreciate having the opportunity to try nice products at a discount.

I’ve been meaning to buy one of these Moscow mule mug ever since I had an awesome Moscow mule drink in one of those mugs at the restaurant.This is unique and beautiful mug. 100% Copper inside and outIt is beautifully designed. Sturdy and stable.
