It folds flat, assembles very easily, and weighs less than 5 pounds. Just understand that if you have a large dog and he decides he really wants to get out, nothing about the thin screening or inexpensive zipper is going to stop him. A well behaved, crate trained dog (I'm hoping I have one of those and I'm about to find out) shouldn't be a problem.Addendum: Unfortunately, my hopes of a well behaved, crate trained dog were optimistic. Even after acclimating her to the crate for a few days, we tried putting her in it and going out. When we got home, she was VERY! EXCITED! TO SEE US! and proceeded to paw frantically at the mesh. It's already started to shred.It's a nice concept; but it is not sturdy enough to hold up to a Big Happy Dog.

Cannot use to carry pets, just use to keep them from running around.

not good for rambunkous dog

Bought this to put a medium size dog in for a road trip. It was just fine in the house, she slept happily in it. Just not sturdy enough for long time use. By the time we were traveling one of the side poles just broke in two. Found ourselves rearranging the car so the dog could ride in the same space as the kennel. Then i remembered i had duct tape! Its usable and made it 3,600 miles! However, i got what I paid for.

For the price it's a great kennel. I bought this to take camping with me my 6 month old puppy loves it(and she HATES kennels). The fabric is very cheap but for the price you pay it's a good kennel. I wouldn't use it as an everyday thing but traveling or whatever I would say it suits it's purpose. My parents bought a kennel very similar to this one from cabelas and paid a heck of a lot more than $39 so with that said it's worth the buy.

At first I really liked the light weight crate as I could move it around my house with ease . Then we had a thunder storm in the middle of the night and this picture is the results of what my scared dog easily did to the crate !

Update. It broke and I never even put my dog in it. Unfortunately I had no other option than to use it since I didn't have time to return it to get a refund for a better kennel. Definitely don't recommend.Fast shipping, I ordered it yesterday and it came today. I went to set it up though and have to agree with other reviewers in that it is cheaply made. But what can you expect for a $40 collapsible kennel? Not sure how long it will last but I will only be using it one day a week to take my puppy to work with me so I guess I will see and update accordingly. Definitely not going to use this to replace her every day kennel though. 4 stars because it is much more cheaply made than I had anticipated and I felt like I almost broke it just trying to get it set up. May adjust later if I find it breaks with how little I am going to use it.
