Dig Defence - The Original Animal Barrier Fence, Small/Medium - 30’ Total Length - No Dig Fence, 10 Pack

This product is incredible! We had an animal digging under the lattice on our screened porch. I installed this barrier and it has solved the problem! It is very sturdy and can be easily installed using a rubber mallet.

This is my second purchase. I did one side of the backyard about a year or so ago. No corrosion or rusting, so you are getting actual stainless steel. So then I purchased another set for the other side.In short, they fit fairly well between the fence posts. Pretty strong and you can hammer them in to get thru roots etc. So these are 32 inches aka 2.67 feet, so most fence panels are 96 inches, aka 8 foot. So 3 panels are need for full coverage per panel. Personally I focused on trouble spots with large gaps the dog could get thru. Overall, these are not cheap, but they are real stainless, so you won't ever have to do this again for the life of the fence.

Ultimately, they worked well for us but bent easily. We ended up cutting them in half and tapping each in using a hammer and a wood board cut exactly to size.

Perfect for the shed where I had a skunk... used repellant to get the critter to leave, then these to block reentry.. worked!

I'm not really sure how to rate this. If it cost what it should I would give it five stars. $90 for ten of these is ridiculous. It takes two to cover one panel of my fence. They aren't anything fancy. They should cost $25 for ten of them. We got it so the cat won't dig under to the neighbors. He isn't much of a jumper so it should work. I really need ten more but I'm not willing to pay that much again. They were also really greasy. My hands were black after I installed it. I was a little worried about putting them in but it was pretty easy. It rained yesterday so it's softer. I might have my husband go hit them a few times to get them a bit deeper. Over all I'm happy with them.

Reasonable price. First bought one box of 10 of the 8" barriers. Simple to pound them in next to the fence and they kept my big dog from digging a hole so my small dog could escape! Bought a second box of 10 of the 8" size to put along another section of fence "just in case". The adage "Good fences make good neighbors" applies to these barriers - my neighbors were on the war path because the digging extended into their yard and now the problem is resolved.
