Natural Deodorant for Sensitive Skin - Baking Soda Free Deodorant Cream - Grapefruit

Update 10/10/16: Just thought I'd update this review one more time, since I moved from Vermont to Arkansas (during the hottest part of the year). I've been sweating so much more since moving here, but this deodorant continues to work just as well, and still has never irritated my skin. I really love this stuff.Update 2/29/2016: I still love this deodorant, and it's still working great. I wanted to say that I haven't noticed any staining, and that I still haven't run out of the first jar, although I probably only have a few days worth left. So, for me, and I know that at least half of the time I've probably taken a bigger glob than I needed to, but still, one jar has lasted from December 18, 2015 to February 29, 2016 with a little bit still in the jar. I think that's pretty good! I wasn't expecting the little jar to last that long, and I think I could make it last even longer if I don't take more than I need to. I really thought the jar thing would be annoying, but it really isn't, and I like how I can use every last bit of the stuff. So, I still highly recommend this stuff! I've been on a quest to find a deodorant that doesn't irritate my armpits, works decently well, and doesn't have any apparently bad stuff in it. I thought I'd found something awesome before finding this, but now I think my standards were too low. The other stuff I was using didn't irritate my skin or have bad stuff in it, but it quit lasting very long, made me smell weird after a short amount of time, left oily stains on my clothes, made my coats smell bad so that I had to wash them all the time. I thought it was just me and that I was doomed to smell weird forever if I wanted my armpit skin to be happy. My husband told me, after months of using the other stuff, that the smell of it for like the first hour after I put it on, drove him crazy and irritated his nose and eyes, so I was Googling for something else to try. I saw this on a blog so did some reading around about it, read some reviews. It works for some and not for others apparently, so I thought I'd just see. I'm really glad I did because it works great for me. I thought it was weird using my fingers to apply it, but am used to it now. If you grow out your fingernails, you might have issues, but could use something else to scoop it out probably. Or the back of your nail maybe, I don't know. It smells good to me, like fruit loops cereal or something, but with a hint of black pepper, I don't know why, or if that's just me, but I like it just fine and it doesn't bother my family, it doesn't waft around me like a cloud like the other stuff did, according to my husband. And it doesn't irritate his nose or eyes up close either. Plus, for me, the smell of the deodorant is pretty faint and dissipates, but even when the scent is gone, I don't stink. I don't smell weird, my coats don't smell weird, I don't think it stains anything, not sure yet. But it lasts a long time for me. I don't reapply at all. I don't even stink in the morning. My armpits also stay more dry using this stuff. I'm really happy to have found it. It's a little expensive, I'm wondering if I could make it myself, but for now, I'm just so happy with it and not smelling weird, that I don't mind. I even went to Meow Meow Tweet's website and ordered a couple more. I don't know how long a jar lasts yet, I'm predicting a month or two based on how much I still have, but could be wrong. Anyway, I love it. It works extremely well for me.

This stuff works! I work 13+ hours and I don't have that sure-UNSURE issue anymore, where I try to discreetly lift my arms and go "hmmm". If I am off work and running errands I try not to use deodorant and I don't smell anything. I am in Florida right now so Meow Meow Tweet has been tested in extreme conditions heat and humidity.Pros: IT freaking works no skin sensitivities or irritation no stinkCons: $$$, I swore I would not pay over $4-7 for deodorant. But, if I don't put myself at a higher risk of cancer (preservatives, synthetic chemicals in commercial toiletries), it's definitely worth itI have heard stories of preservatives of common toiletries like deodorant, hair conditioners, lotions,, toiletries etc being found in biopsied breast tissue of women with breast cancer... So, about 3-4 years ago I started to use deodorant only and not antiperspirant which can only be found in the Men's section of any Target or Walgreens that I've noticed.Commercial ProductsOld spice Men's deodorants smell nice, but wear off after awhile and I still sweat.Dove Men's deodorants smells nice, also wears off the same as Old Spice.I used Secret and Dove Women's antiperspirants in my teenage years and my skin started to peel, flake, and become red so I try to stay away from regular commercial products.I used Mitchum women's antiperspirant and it worked at first-no stink, no sweating and then it stopped working after a few hours.Natural deodorantsI have tried Tom's and it doesn't stop me from sweating and I don't like the smell of Tom's + my sweat = cheese :(I tried Crystal spray. It helps with the odor a little bit, but I still have major sweat even 30- 1 hour after I put it on I feel like I need to shower all over again.
