Bobby is one of those artists that I find it difficult to find the ORIGINAL tracks that he did for Atlantic and Capitol and A&M.He recorded for and had hits for all of these imprints much like Dion DiMucci who also did so with Laurie Records and Columbia.Anyway, this CD set seems to fir most of the bill however there is also one that is exclusively devoted to his ATCO output and that is the label where he did most of his million selling hitsNot too bad

Apparently very highly rated by Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin was another of the music 'greats' taken from us too soon. I think I'm right in saying that his version of "Mack The Knife" was the only record ever to receive a standing ovation on "Juke Box Jury"?Anyway, he recorded in a multitude of styles, all very effective, & everything is pretty much covered here. Very enjoyable collection.At this price it's a steal!!

Only bought this for Mack the knife. There are a few other good tracks on here. Bargain at the price.

Interesting compilation from a singer not easy to pigeonhole. Bobby Darin had a lot of hits but they were almost all quite dissimilar from each other unlike most of his contempories who each had their own distinctive style and tended to stick to it (eg Bobby Vee, Marty Wilde Billy Fury etc)
