DadWare Original Bondaroo Skin to Skin Kangaroo Care Bonding T-Shirt

I love this shirt. It’s so comfortable. Feels like an extra soft T-shirt. And I get to have skin to skin time with my son without trying to fit into hospital robes that are too small and awkward. I love that my son can snuggle up next to me in my DadWare shirt and that it keeps him close to me and both of us comfortable. I love it. The fit is great.

I was mislead by the function of this product. The picture shows a man standing holding his infant. The actual item has a warning label that states “use in a seated position only”. This is nowhere in the description on Amazon. I thought my fiancé would be able to move around with the baby in the shirt (hence “kangaroo” shirt) while bonding. All this shirt is, is a regular shirt with Velcro openings. Next time I’ll rip a shirt open and close it myself with velco.By reading the description on the item itself, I now understand the functionality of the shirt, and would not have bought it. This is a misleading amazon ad. And, since I ordered the shirt before the baby was born, by the time we tried it out and found it useless, I missed the return windowI gave it two stars instead of one because if I’d known it was no more than a “skin on skin” shirt, I would have been fine with it, because it’s a nice material and fit accurately.

My husband and our baby girls loved this product. We had twins born at 35 weeks, so they had to spend a week in the NICU. We went in every day to have kangaroo/skin-to-skin time with the girls, and this made it so easy for my husband! Plus, he said that it was comfortable and is a shirt he could wear anywhere. Our one complaint? The velcro would sometime stick to the blankets wrapped around the girls. Perhaps a zipper instead would solve that? Otherwise, a wonderful idea. The NICU nurses loved it too.

My husband was reluctant at first. Then he put it on... the nurses were amazed and had never seen such a thing. He LOVED the bonding he was able to have with our son without the awkward “shirt off” experience. Worth it!!

Purchased this shirt for my husband to wear during the delivery of our second child. They both love it!!!.. I think this is such a good gift for a new dad. The fabric is also very soft and comfy.

I️ bought these for my son after the birth of his son. He said they fit well and worked well for skin to skin bonding, but they were slightly uncomfortable due to the velcro. He uses them all the time, though, because he’s able to snuggle up with his son easily without taking off his flannel shirt and T-shirt. Overall a good solid purchase.

I got this shirt for my husband when we found out our baby would have to be born premature and would have to spend time in NICU. He liked it because he could wear it in to the hospital and also have skin-to-skin time with her without closing the curtains around our child's isolette, and without sitting in the NICU with his shirt off. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the velcro is scratchy against the skin, and a softer version of velcro would help that. However, this never prevented him from folding back the part that wasn't fastened in order to protect our child's and my husband's skin from the velcro. Oh, and the NICU nurses said they'd never seen a similar shirt, and were very impressed with its practicality.

I bought this shirt as a gift for my SO. I already know my SO is not going to want to be shirtless at the hospital in front of other people. This allows him to be comfortable and still be able to give skin to skin contact with our son. I cannot wait to see them snuggled together in this shirt! Hopefully in 2 weeks or less! The shirt is nicely made and soft. It does look bulky in the front with the velcro so it would be strange to just wear as a normal shirt outside of the hospital or home (-1 star).
