BALANSTIX Game

Ok, it took us a while to get around to trying this out. Once we did, the instructions were clear enough for our 8yr old, and the Balanstix entertained us all (up to age 40 something... :) At first, our 8 yr old thought the stick was too tall for his height, but after 20 minutes of playing with it, he got the hang of it, and thought it was a blast. The way it is designed, kids can get the positive reinforcement of succeeding not long after trying it, yet there are essentially "levels" to master, as you increase the challenge. Super easy to play, yet still provides a challenge to get to mastery. Definitely worth the $15 for a unique all ages toy.
