This is the nicest child shopping cart cover I've ever seen! And I've been looking too. This one is not only padded for comfort and has seatbelt yup straps for safety but storage too. The is a clear plastic pocket (keeps spills off too) with Velcro for my cellphone that sits on top so it's visible to me and easy to get at but secure against theft. There's a zippered pocket that hangs on the front for a bottle, diaper, coupons -- whatever! There are elastic goring to make it fit nicely over the cart and ties to keep it there too. The whole thing folds into itself forming a "purse" with handles for carrying- once opened this can become a pocket too. The material and sewing/seams in this are flawless in my opinion. Nothing to scratch of loose to pull apart. This fits a large cart-- the seat section is ample enough to fit a growing child and my nephew/niece will love it for their new baby!! Yes in giving it as a gift. It's that nice. There are loops in the front to hook tots or a binky too so they don't fall onto dirty store floors too.
