Training tubular-clincher for use with high inflation pressure.

Not bad, just not for me.
This got a three star only because it isn't something I would be able to use for triathlons. I noticed it was foldable and durable so I thought I'd give it a try, but even folded is it too large to fit in a small tool bag. It is also difficult to put on. I won't embarrass myself and say how long it took to do it, but suffice to say that I would come in dead last in a race if I'd had a flat and had to use this as a replacement. However, it does seem to ride well on clinchers and knowing the construction is tougher than most tires is a confidence booster. Here's a hint: before trying to put it on, try to stretch it using hour hands and feet as much as possible. It will be impossible to put on without stretching it.

Love these tires, but...
got it before delivered date. Also there very hard to put on, don't believe the YouTube video. They have almost no stretching capability. I don't have a lot of upper body (hands and arms) strength so I buy wide cable ties, use them to secure on to the rim 3/4 on each side, from the stem, which is already on. Then with a real struggle l stench the remaining tire on to the rim. With a alternating adding a little air and deflating I work the bead into the rim, using my fingernail to seed the bead into the rim.

decent cheap high pressure training tire
I use these on my track bike for "training" on the velodrome. Nice, inexpensive option for a narrower tire to run high pressure on the track. Not very supple, but appears to be very durable. I like the simplicity of the tubular-clincher system, actually very easy to mount once you understand how it works, and saves costs on tubes and rim tape. I am looking for a more supple tufo tub-clinch for racing. Not sure I would use these on the road though, as it would be harder to deal with flats.One flaw I've noticed, which my be due to "user error" -- there's a slight hop or bump near the valve. I think this is because an extra piece of rubber is glued on the underside of the tire at the valve, making that section thicker and less flexible, so it doesn't seat in the tire as well. I'm hoping this is not an issue on the costlier models.

this bike tire is the best. It was a little hard to get on but worth the effort. holds air over the long term and a great ride

I've been using these for a couple years and i'm astonished that people waste their time with inner tubes. i can change one of these in less than 5 minutes with no tools at all.Also, a great ride/feel and pretty puncture resistant.J

Favorite set of tires. I've bought several pairs of these Tufo and I love them!

Excellent tire, feels sticky to the road without creating resistant or friction. Will use them for training and race day. The rubber layers are thick to protect from punctures, well hand made tire.

ATTENZIONE questo tubolare è un " CLINCHER " quindi si monta unicamente su ruote da COPERTONE.P.S. la descrizione che sia un Clincher è completamente mancante e in oltre la traduzione del prodotto in Italiana è assolutamente incomprensibile. Il prodotto Tubolare TUFO a se è validissimo. Suggerisco alla ditta TUFO di controllare le descrizioni e traduzione dei loro prodotto, onde evitare clienti scontenti e aumentare la loro vendita.

Otra opción a la típica de cámara y cubierta
Ojo! Para llantas de cubiertas, no para tubulares. Es como llevar tubulares en llantas de cubiertas. Esto en mi opinión tiene sus pros y sus contras que intento explicar:PROS.Rueda muy bien, la sensación es muy buena y el agarre en curva es bastante bueno, muy uniforme.Al aguantar mayor presión parece que puedas rodar más rápido, con menos roce sobre la carretera, incluso el sonido es diferente a una cubierta.Al meter el líquido antipinchazos, si pinchas sin grandes cortes, tapa automáticamente sin necesidad de parar.El peso es menor a la suma de cubierta y cámara.CONTRAS.En este neumático en concreto de 21, es demasiado estrecho y solo lo recomiendo para rueda delantera.Si el pinchazo es grande o rajas en ruta, estás perdido. No hay opción de cambiar cámara. Habrá que poner otro tubular o llamar para que te recojan.Hay que tener un poco de maña para ponerlo.

Perfecto hasta el primer pinchazo
Es perfecto para rodar con presión similar a un tubular. Después de un pinchazo permite volver a casa (si antes hemos metido líquido) pero hay que olvidarse de volver a meter mucha presión.

Absolut geile Reifen
Habe Reifen auf mein Bahnrad aufgezogen und bin nun schon seit Anfang Sept. echt zufrieden. Werde auch bei meinem Rennrad und TT in Einsatz kommen. Zu bemerken wäre nur das die Montage kein Kinderspiel ist. Dafür sitzen sie fest wie aufgeklebt. Auf jeden Fall die Mühe wert finde ich.
