Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 out of 5 stars) - Still a Go-To for Spills, Though Quality Concerns Pop Up Occasionally - Plenty White Kitchen Roll, especially the 100-sheet version, has long been synonymous with superior absorbency and strength in our household. For years, it's been the reliable workhorse for everything from major liquid spills to everyday wiping and polishing, and for the most part, it continues to deliver that robust performance. What makes Plenty great: Exceptional Absorbency: This is where Plenty truly shines. It lives up to its "one sheet does plenty" slogan. Whether it's a spilt drink, a cooking mess, or just general cleaning, these sheets soak up liquid incredibly efficiently. You genuinely use fewer sheets compared to many cheaper alternatives. Strong When Wet: Unlike many kitchen rolls that disintegrate the moment they get damp, Plenty holds its integrity. You can scrub with it, wring it out, and even reuse it for certain tasks without it falling apart, which is a huge plus for tougher cleaning jobs. Versatility: From mopping up spills and polishing surfaces to absorbing grease from fried food or even cleaning muddy paws, Plenty handles a wide range of tasks with ease. 100 Sheets per Roll: This is a good, generous count, meaning rolls last longer and you're not constantly changing them, which is convenient, especially when buying online. Things to consider (and recent customer feedback): Occasional Quality Variations: While generally excellent, there have been some scattered reports from long-time users noting slight variations in recent batches. Some mention the paper feeling a bit "cardboardy," or that the perforations aren't as consistent, leading to smaller or incomplete sheets. This isn't universal, but it's worth being aware of. Price Point: Plenty is often at the higher end of the kitchen roll market. While its performance usually justifies the cost by needing fewer sheets, it's something to factor in, especially if you catch it when not on offer. "Dusty" Residue (Rare): A very small number of users have reported a fine paper dust or lint when tearing off sheets, particularly noticeable on dark surfaces. This seems to be an uncommon issue, but something to note if you're very sensitive to that. Overall: The Plenty White Kitchen Roll 100 Sheets remains a very strong contender in the kitchen towel market. For sheer absorbency and wet strength, it's difficult to beat, making it incredibly effective for tackling all sorts of household messes. While there might be very occasional inconsistencies in manufacturing quality (which hopefully are isolated incidents), it still provides excellent value by helping you use less. If you prioritise performance and efficiency over the absolute lowest price per roll, Plenty is still a highly recommended choice for a clean and efficient home.
