Does it have a hole for hanging?

No, sorry. No hole. Mine stays on my cutting table so never noticed but it would need to lie flat. It’s a really great mat though.

Are both sides useable and the same color?

Both sides are the same color and both sides can be used

What materials are used in this? is it pvc?

I'm not sure of the materials from which it's made but it isn't slippery like the lower quality of mats I've had. I don't regret this purchase at all.

What is the thickness of this mat?

It’s about 1/4” thick. It’s very nice, good quality.
