Even though I have shopped on Amazon for YEARS, this is the first time I posted a review (no I was not offered any freebies or discounts to post this). I was actually looking for Dr. Marteen or Timberlines but saw these and read the reviews. The price difference of about $80.00 helped influence me, besides I already knew Amazon's return was painless most of the time.The first pair I purchased was size was 6.5 or 37 (which 37 is normally a size 6.5 to 7 in US standards). I have Amazon prime so the shoes arrived in 2 days. I was super excited when they arrived. Extremely light (compared to my other combat type boots) nice stitching, then tried them on and too big. SERIOUSLY TOO BIG. They felt like almost a 7.5, even if I put on 3 pairs of socks they were too big. Printed out the return label, put them back in the bag they arrived in and immediately ordered a new pair size 6.I dropped off the return to the UPS drop off and that night I was already issued my refund. Better yet, when the new pair came (again in 2 days), they fit perfectly. I wore them that night with a red and black plaid mini dress, looked super cute (sorry didn't take a photo). They are extremely comfortable. Thinking of purchasing a back up pair.

I cannot say enough good things about these boots. I bought them at the last minute before a big trip to New Zealand, as a backup, not really planning on wearing them that often. Well I ended up wearing them every. single. day. They are so comfortable! I wore them walking through cities, hiking up mountains, chasing my kids around, literally everywhere. Plus, they look so much like real Doc Martens that I got a ton of compliments. These just might be my favorite Amazon purchase of all time!

Ordered a size 9..Thats my normal size..and they fit perfect...I dont know why people are saying they run big..small...just MEASURE your foot..and go by the sellers chart and you will not go wrong,thats what I did..and they are perfect..These are very nice quality boots..They look like Doc Martens..one of my best buys on Amazon to date...price can not be beat...I highly recommend these boots..just measure your foot according to sellers recommendations.

NOTE: 1st off... THESE BOOTS FIT TO NORMAL SIZE!!!!! Don’t read any other reviews! If you plan on wearing a thick sock go up a size! Yes, go up a size! NOT DOWN!!!!These are great boots! And the price is better. PS I reread the review and had to return! I wear a 9m woman’s USA. I bought per first few reviews? Size 8.50.... No buy your regular boot size!

Just received these today. I wasn't expecting much for the price but was I surprised. I wanted a new pair of boots but wasn't sure I wanted to pay a lot as I wasn't sure how much use I would get these days. I opened them up and pleasantly surprised. They seem stiff in the toe box but the upper is soft. With the right socks they will be comfortable. The sole looks good as well. I may order my daughter a pair as well.

I first purchased these boots from another highly-rated seller. They arrived SO SMALL, the reviews were so mixed, so I ended up choosing this seller.SO... to the part you need to read....MEASURE YOUR FOOT.I read the reviews here and they were so mixed, I wasn't sure what to go with as most reviews here say they run large. I'm so glad that I didn't order smaller and measured. I'm typically an 8.5. I measured and aligned with an 8.5 on the seller's sizing chart. The fit perfect, but I could have gone to a 9 had I had the option, as I like a little more room in my boots.Simply put, measure your foot and go from there.

I am adding photos so you can see what I am referring to in my review.In the first photo you can see the 3 shoes together titled from left to right where I placed authentic Dr Martens purchased at a Dr Martens store next to the two pairs of shoes I received from this seller. The real Dr Martens are a size 8 as you should always go up a half size with real Dr M's in certain styles.(SHOE NUMBER 1) I am a true 7.5 and I ended up buying a size 6.5 because of the reviews saying to size down and received a shoe that not only was way to small but didn't look like the photos in the listing as the back tag was off saying (JUST MAKE BEST SHOES) instead of "With Soles Bouncing" and the yellow stitching was more florescent yellow/green along with the shoe being more shiny. In the end I really liked the look of shoe anyway even though you could clearly tell they didn't look like real Doc's but had to return them as they were way to small.(SHOE NUMBER 2) I then ordered a 7.5 as I knew that from the way the 6.5 didn't fit the 7.5 would be perfect and then I RECEIVED A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SHOE! Shoe number 2 came and yes the label said "With soles bouncing" and was more matte color like the real Dr M's but the 7.5 in this shoe was also way to small. I wish they would have just sent me a size up in the first shoe I received instead of sending me a completely different shoe.This was a really disappointing and frustrating experience for me as I had to return both pairs so I gave up and stuck with the real Dr. Martins. The only reason I was trying to purchase these less expensive DM look alikes is because I knew I wouldn't be wearing them that much and yes the real DM's do cost about $120 but they will last you forever. I got my first pair of DMs back in the 80's and at that time wore them almost every day for years and are still with me over 30 years later but do look rough so I wanted a fresh pair that would look clean and cute with dresses and less grungy :-)I am giving 3 stars because my return with both pairs of shoes with amazon was flawless and the shoes were not terrible aside from the inconsistency in the product they shipped to me.Here are the differences between amazon shoe number 2 and the real DM's - The back tag is flipped around - the boot height in the real DM's is a bit taller - the stitching is different in areas as the real DM's have solid high quality stitching - and when you feel the shoes there is no question that of course the DM's a higher quality. The truth is, if you can get this shoe in the right size and the right make in this listing they are super cute and do look very close to the real DM's. My end thought is that I honestly wish they would have shipped me the exact same pair from my first purchase in a 7.5, I really liked them and they would have been perfect. Hope this was helpful!

These boots are great! Perfect and true to size. Friends didn't know they weren't docs. They are softer leather than docs and i don't have to break them in. Very comfortable from day 1. I hope they hold up thru the winter and if they do i will most likely buy another pair. I would love another color like red if they are available.
