This is a decent corset if you are just starting out or just want to wear it for the look/costume. The quality actually isn't that bad but if you are actually waist training I would go with better quality for a better fit.

This is my first corset, and I'm so glad that I chose Love of Corset's. I sew and considered making one, but after examining online patterns I knew this is an item best left to the pros (not to mention materials, time, and a curse-laden learning curve). The construction strength is top-notch and the materials are excellent quality. Putting on a corset requires a degree of man-handling to cinch it up, and this feminine-looking garment hides its tough side very well.My first and most impressive benefit of this corset is the incredible back support. If you're top-heavy and experience lower back pain, this is likely to help alleviate some of that too.One thing about a corset is that when worn with a bra, it appears I'm wearing a bionic pushup. I'm a DDD and already wear a minimizer, so now I'm wearing tops that help tame the girls when it's appropriate. I've been wearing it as instructed, and after about a week I've already measured a 1/2-inch smaller - this makes me a believer in waist training. I've had four kids, and at almost 50, I find that for some reason my rib cage has definitely expanded over the past 10 years. This anatomical change makes me appear much heavier, and I hate that! This corset rocks! I look skinny again when I'm wearing it. I'm super excited to see how this works after a few more months.

It's beautiful but it is certainly not steel boned so if your looking for this for waist reduction, sorry, look on. It doesn't even come lace properly for cinching the waist....definitely a fashion corset. I got it to help my posture and to make sure I could stand wearing a corset before I invested in a real one. It works out well for that considering the price.

Fast delivery! Was here before the expected arrival dates. I couldn't wait to try it on and when I did, it was beautiful! I could tell when I opened the package that this was a true steel boned corset just from the weight. When I tried it on I laced it up loosely and couldn't believe how well it fit! The material is really good quality and the corset is very well made. The instructions that were provided are easy to follow and understand. I really enjoyed the hand written note from Jaime. I truly can't wait to season this corset and wear it in the spring with some of the shirts that will go with this, not including the dresses! I would recommend Love Of Corsets to anyone who is interested in wearing or already wears corsets. I will definitely buy from Love Of Corsets again without a doubt.

OH MY GOD. This thing is glorious. Seriously, what a great corset! Such high quality for the low price (which is ridiculous, by the way) and beautiful! I didn't do the magnet test, but the weight of it straight from the package says real steel. For reference, I have a 30" waist and I ordered a 24" which YES, is a little small, but I wanted it that way because I don't plan on staying at my heavy weight forever. It was a little hard to put on because of that, but the strings are the best. It's laced correctly and shoelace type so they're so much sturdier than flimsy ribbon. I was able to yank very tight without fear of it snapping. Gah! Love this!! I'm probably going to get an overbust just like this one. Awesome purchase!

Not steel as advertised! The front and back ribs may be (although not magnetic). Side ribs are definitely not steel. staeting to think Amazon doesn't have any of higher quality.

Considering the amount I spent, I wasn't expecting to have such a high quality corset. I love it! I was diagnosed with Scoliosis about 7 years ago and the older I get the more pain I seem to experience and the weaker my back gets. I was amazed how this corset immediately took away some of the pain and provided the support it did. All without having it tight just snug. Today was day 3 of me seasoning it and the more it conforms to me the more it helps my back. I can't wait to see what the future holds. Thank you so much! Btw, these ARE REAL steel boned corsets. I tested every "bone" myself with a magnet and it stuck to every part.
