I pair it with a leave in conditioner/heat protectant though as I am hard on my hair (blow dry and straighten several times a week). There's also a lot of reviews about how the conditioner seems thin. Yes it is thinner than you're probably used to, but that is because it doesn't have all the harsh chemicals and actually, it can be argued that it's better for it as it is easier to work through your strands and allow it to soak in better.
