I use these constantly in my classroom. They can get a bit banged up when kids are being rough. (If you don't want any nicks, then try the super heavy duty shop ticket holders). Recommended pens are fine point Expo, black color. They are the easiest to erase and leave little to no ghosting. Just have kids erase both sides even if they don't see any ink because black Expo blends with the black worksheet. If you want to sort things by color, tie a colored ribbon in the top gusset (hole), glue a ribbon on the top section, or use duct tape to cover an edge. There are other options than spending an extra $20 for color-coding.

Once at Sears automotive, they left the shop ticket in my trunk in one of these holders. I had a brilliant mom idea and I bought these for my kids. I'm the mom who spills stuff on the kids Field trip permission forms and my son is the kid that wrinkles important papers. Now if any of my kids brings me important school stuff and leaves it on the kitchen counter for me to fill out, it goes in here. Sure you can use folders, but papers fall out of folders and you can see through these

I purchased these for students and found them to be very well made and priced appropriately. The students use them every day and they've held up really well so far. Skip the brand name manufacturers' products (and they're premium pricing) - I'm really glad I took a chance on these. Use these for sending home homework in my classroom. Work really well and seem to last the whole year.

For a teacher, these were great! Light weight, easy to distribute, wipes clean, and I can take it from classroom to classroom. You can also put graph paper or different types of paper in the pocket so that you can use it for a variety of purposes.

Excellent deal!! I'm going to use these in my classroom. I'm so excited to have found these in a larger pack that other packs of 12. The black is a great alternative to the colors, because if my students accidentally mark on the border, it won't mess up the whole appearance of the sleeve.

I am a high school teacher who has to teach in 3 different rooms, so carrying around regular white boards is almost impossible. So, I saw these, ordered them and they work great! I put white paper in them and they work just like the heavy white boards, only MUCH easier to drag around!

One of the best investments this new teacher has made. Make a worksheet, put it in the holder and attach a write-on-wipe-off marker and you have a worksheet that is completely reusable. The school supply companies sell these for twice the price with fancy colored edging. These are black and I don't care with what I saved.
