This kit was purchased for my husband for Father's Day. He has an unruly gray goatee type beard that is more than 6 inches long. He had been complaining of dry skin under the beard for some time. He also drives a convertible which dries out and tangles up his beard. I though this oil might help. He has been using it daily after his shower for one week. His beard looks so much better! It looks silver now, instead of gray. It appears longer and is much more tame now. He has commented that the oil has no taste (a concern when he has used hair conditioner in the past. The conditioner always left a residue that he could taste. Not good) He also likes that it has virtually no smell. I have not noticed any smell when I get close to him. His beard is softer and his skin is not dry under his beard like it was before. I will be making more purchases of this beard oil as he uses it up. It will be a MUST have in our bathroom from now on!

Good stuff! I should clarify, this is the first beard oil I've ever used, so I have nothing to compare it with. But my beard's always been pretty coarse and prickly (I mean, the main reason I HAVE a beard is that my beard hairs are so coarse shaving them is a huge pain in the ass), and this has helped with that. I've found just a little bit every other day is the sweet spot, though obviously your mileage may vary. I don't love the smell, but that fades fairly quickly. Still working out just how much is too much (right now, for instance, I think I overdid it; my beard is a bit too oily to the touch), but overall I'm pretty happy with this product. And the comb is nice, too (though I may get something with finer teeth).

Been using this for a few days now and would have to say my beard has been noticeably softer and less bristly. Not tremendously different, but noticeable - and the wife agrees. It does have a very mild scent when you initially put it on, but it is very brief. The smell reminds me of wet cardboard - but, again, it is very mild and very short-lived. I would also say that it helps reign in the "wild" hairs a bit as well, but not as definitively as a beard balmThe comb, FOR ME, is too widely spaced. Let me quickly add that the comb itself is nicely made and very smooth. However, I still find a regular old school plastic comb (the kind that is different wides on each half) works best for me. I keep my beard trimmed with a #8 comb on the shaver - someone with a longer, busher and/or thicker beard would probably do better with this comb.So, again, FOR ME, I'd rate the oil 4 stars and then, separately, the comb at 4 stars for quality but only 2 stars for functionality because it doesn't really work well with MY beard.

It works well. I knocked off a start because a few of the teeth are bent toward each other, making the teeth uneven. I haven't had any snags with it, but it does leave gaps. The oil is fine. It has made my beard slightly softer, I suppose. I use a medicated shampoo with conditioner (dandruff shampoo) and I leave it in for a few before rinsing it out. If I am pressed for time and can't leave it in as long as I would like, I use the oil. If not, I don't.The wooden comb does feel nice. I just wish it had been a bit more uniform with the teeth.

Please keep in mind I am not yet a well-bearded man. I am preparing for my first beard growing experience, but have already started using the oil. The oil is not as oily in feel as I expected. It feels almost like water and has no real smell from what I can tell. A small dose (a few drops) goes for my full face, which is good because the container is actually quite small. I may return and update this as I use this more, but so far it has been very good to my sensitive skin.The comb is amazing! It's my first wood comb and I am never using any other material from now on. I have both metal and plastic combs, which will snag with my thick hair. I have not had a single snag with this wood comb and it feels amazing against my hair and scalp.

I have waited a while before reviewing this product. A couple of disclaimers first: 1. This is the first true "beard oil" I've used. 2. This is the longest I've let my beard grow.So here is what I've found so far: the customer service from the is company has been great. They sent an initial email after placing my order, and then followed up with subsequent emails wanting feedback. They weren't asking for a positive review here, but seemed to genuinely care what I thought of their product. And I can say without hesitation that their product works exactly as advertised. If you're looking for a beard oil and want to deal with a quality company you need look any farther. I will be placing more orders - hopefully that will say what I truly think of them.

I'm pleased with the beard oil as it has softened my beard and decreased the skin irritation in and around my beard. The wooden comb is nice, but it is much thicker than I thought. It is effectively useless for me since I keep my beard around or under an inch in length. It simply does not comb my beard due to how thick the comb the actually is. None of the included photos effectively conveyed how thick the comb actually was (in my opinion). It does appear to be extremely well crafted, with no visible snags or splinters. Still, the oil is excellent and it is unscented which I really like. Count me as a fan.

This was a gift for my husband. The comb was so beautiful,Very sturdy. This set was worth every bit of what I paid. never seen one like this at all. The oil was so nice, It doesn't take much at all,. I see a difference in my husband beard.easier to comb, The oil doesn't make his beard turn color. His beard is silver, There's also a sheen, also. I also purchased our son a set. I hope that you will start saleing the combs separate,I know it will sale out,because not everyone needs the oil. keep up the excellent work, I will return. Thank you very much
