Beard Oil and Beard Butter Kit - The American

I saw an ad for Live Bearded and had never used beard butter. I ordered the Sandalwood, to try, just because I like the smell of Sandalwood. I really like oil and I like the way the butter moisturizes and tames the stray hairs. I went to their website and discovered their beard wash, which I also use. If you sign up on the website, they are very responsive and it's kind of a fun site. I've used a variety of oils and balms, most of them very good, but I'm beard butter fan now!

I have been using The Legend that came in the white container. I was pretty happy with that one. I went to reorder and noticed different packaging. No problem. The product however has been improved! the scent is better. the butter is creamier so it goes on easy. and I feel like it actually conditions better. my beard is actually softer now and stays that way longer throughout the day. i am very impressed with the changes! I'm actually ordering a few more jars today. I also definitely suggest using the oil as well. It will really help to condition your skin and hair. My beard is super curly and very thick. I can easily comb my beard without snags using this product. Very pleased!

This company is great. I buy straight from them now but started with Amazon first. Loe the smell and there is nothing but simple ingredients in itShea butter, Coconut oil, Jojoba oil, Avocado oil, Almond oil, Grape-seed oil, and som oils for sent, THAT'S ITdon go cheap with beard care so many companies use chemicals in there products and Live Bearded is Hands down the best out, this being said it is not just products it is the brotherhood, but that is for a different subject...Every product they have is amazing this is just my favorite sentAnd no I am not sponsored by them this is just a great product and I have been using it for over 3 years now

The Sandalwood w/ Vanilla (The Lengend formula) should be renamed Overpowering Vanilla with a Hint of The Promise Of a Whiff of Sandalwood. Other product reviews should have swayed me away, as others had warned the vanilla scent is so overpowering, it’s reminiscent of gramma’s powder room, not a manly beard scent like the promise of Sandalwood might suggest. Live & learn, but this was an unfortunate purchase. Won’t be using The Legend.

I didn't care for the smell at first... maybe a light fragrance would have offset it. The oil is great and makes my beard remarkably soft as remarked by people who feel it. The butter is virtually useless... it's the exact same ingredients as the oil except for the addition of a low density oil which makes it solidify. but i don't get more than a negligible amount of hold from it, so ifi want hold, i have to add another product; and that was disappointing.

So I’ve tried a lot of beard products trying to find what works the best for my beard and most have been awful to just adequate. This is the first product I’ve used where I genuinely feel a difference in my beard. It’s both getting softer and the smell is amazing and tends to last throughout the day. My only complaint was the cap for my beard oil doesn’t fit on the bottle so I have to be careful so it doesn’t leak out, this is probably just a one off issue though.

With so many products on the market, Ive been skeptical. Tried many that were ok. This combo oil/butter is working better than all I have tried so far. I recommend this to anyone with dry brittle beards. Daily use keeps beard healthy. Thank you.

Nice textured oil with great scent. Bottle is a let down shake to pour. Butter nice texture too. Pretty good scent, slightly overpowered by cedar but good none the less. Plastic tub lads. Tin tubs impress me, the twist on type.
