Decent Mic But Has Some Downsides
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this mic to use with my Samsung Galaxy S6, when I film myself playing ukulele and singing. The mic definitely does a better job of picking up my voice, compared to the phone's built-in microphone. However, I've noticed a faint buzzing/ticking noise in the videos when I use the mic. While I'm actually singing or playing, it's very faint and only a little noticeable, but when I stop and the room is quiet, you can definitely hear it. And occasionally there will be even more noise, as demonstrated in the video. I don't have this problem with the built-in microphone, so I can only assume it has something to do with this particular mic, or it's just something that happens when trying to use a mic with a phone. I've played around with it for about three weeks now and can't figure out how to get the noise to go away.

Slight clicking noise may hinder non- casual use
Quality and build are good. The gain is great very much better than the built in microphone. Length is fine too. My only problem is that a touching can be heard while recording, especially during silence. Sort of how you can hear the camera gears working on a video made from the SLR, except there is no excuse here, because the microphone is far away from the cell phone. And it is exactly why people get off camera microphones on the first place is to avoid this exact type of noise. If you're purposes I intended for your ears only or are super casual, is it still love very worthwhile microphone to get. But if its being used for anything like a you two video or something for Republic consumption, you may want to consider something else, or be prepared to have to do post processing to get rid of the noise during silences.

Nice, but check if they work with your laptop
For starters, I like the microphone. I bought it to use with language programs that require speaking. The Mac's internal mic didn't work well for the voice unless you got 2-3 inches away. (Also can't stand the new earbuds with the mic.) On that basis, I am very happy with it.The problem is that when I plug the mic into my laptop, it turns off the internal speakers. So, I can speak or hear, but not both, which is not really useful for spoken language training. This is true for both the 13" and 15" MacBook Pro.In my work area, I have a Retina Display that has internal speakers in it, and those work when the mic is plugged into the laptop. So, I'll keep the mic but it's not as flexible as I wanted. At home, for now I'll have to use the stupid earbuds until I find another solution.

Not bad
I run a professional recording studio and bought this mic to use with my iPhone so as to do remote audio to use with my video camera. It was a cheap experiment. This gets similar results to the built in iPhone 5s mic but since you can put it closer to your mouth and have it remain "invisible", it's a nice alternative for when you'll be on camera.

Solid deal, works better than expected for price.
For the price you can't beat these little guys. I'm using one in my Cannon t5i and I'm really impressed with the sound quality. I work in radio broadcasting and have really high expectations since I use the best gear all day at work. For my own creative stuff I can't afford the high end stuff they have but these are surprisingly close for the low price. Only wish the cord was longer.

Greatly Improved my iPhone Audio in My Videos!
I was a bit worried when this arrived without any instructions... so I plugged it into the microphone port of my iPhone SE and prayed for the best. Then I wasn't sure it was actually working so I recorded a quick video using the phone mic followed by one with the DurbPro mic and was AMAZED at the difference! The audio in the DupbPro video was far superior! A very low-cost solution, especially when in situations where there are distracting noises, etc. I would recommend it to anyone!

The clip in particular felt like the kind of clip that I'd have only expected ...
The first unit I received was defective... but the build quality was impressive. The clip in particular felt like the kind of clip that I'd have only expected in a much more expensive microphone. After contacting Durbpro, they very quickly sent a replacement and the replacement, I must say, is fantastic. It has crisp, clear audio recording with very little undesirable noise picked up and the customer service was outstanding in addressing the issue with the first unit. Highly recommended. I'll be looking into more of their products in the future.

Works Great!
This Lav has proven to be quire useful. It works will with the iOS voice memo app, but I recommend using a third party app for higher quality .wav files.
