Check the cables
I’ve fitted 2 of these. One was fine and the other wasn’t. I found after fitting, using it and finding the nozzle wasn’t warming up that one of the cables had frayed and disconnected. I was able to return it, but now I’m buying as I need the item and gentle pulling on the cables before fitting it.

No PTFE Liner In the heat break
Without the PTFLE liner in the heat break when fitted and used this caused loads of issues and the head blocked up quickly. Given it was a new head I didn't this was the fault, wasted time checking everything else. Also, the heat break does not have a tapered entry same as the original AnyCubic heads

Throat snapped easily :(
Throat snapped on doing up. We resorted to using our old original throat which is more robust.

Good extruder for the anycubic I3 Mega
I have owned my anycubic I3 mega for almost 6 months now and needed a new hotend due to a printing accident (human error). If it is anything like the original that came with the printer then I will be very happy with the results (see photo on cute dragon from thingiverse).
