KitchenInstrument Brand Lemon Squeezer

This lemon squeezer is great! I use it mostly to squeeze lemons for making Pisco Sour. Cut the lemon in half, chuck a half into this tool, squeeze, and the juice just pours out! Sometimes the squeezed half lemon is a bit reluctant to come out, but I usually just knock the tool against the compost bin and it comes right out. This tool is such an improvement over the lemon juicer that I used to use - the one where you push the lemon half onto the juicer and then twist it back and forth to get the juice out - very time consuming and sore on the wrist! This new squeezer is quicker and much easier to use and doesn't leave my wrist sore after squeezing a bunch of lemons. Also, I think it probably yields more per lemon than the juicers.

I use this only for few months but the handle got broken... Initially I like it because of its size, but the plastic is not that good...

Well, I was sure surprised I could get squeezer like this so inexpensively - the compound levers of this design make squeezing citrus a breeze . I expected the fit and finish to be not as nice as the similar one I paid over twice as much for, at another retailer. But when it arrived, sure enough the fit and finishes were lower quality but yey acceptable. What wasn't acceptable was that the rivets that hold the moving parts together did not have heads on both ends - still not fatal if they were actually connected through and clinched, but alas, they were not. Makes the tool completely unusable - the joints come apart. Returned for refund (Thanks Amazon!) and yes -- I will pay the extra for a better quality Chef'N tool. The unit arrived on time and in good condition. It was heavier and more sturdy than expected. I have used it a few times with no issues. Large enough for most citrus at or smaller than an orange. Works well.

I have not used this product yet as it is a Christmas gift for someone else; however, when it arrived it felt heavy, solid, and sturdily built. Wish I could say if worked well or not but do not have that information.

Not bad investment to squeeze more than 100 lemons in 3 years. Finally joint part started to crack.

This lemon squeezer is far superior to the common single hinge squeezers. My only disappoinment is the handles are made of a fiberglass plastic composite instead of metal. Nontheless, it performs very well and in my opinion, well worth the money.

This squeezer isn't as robust as it looks. When you're squeezing juice, it flexes and bends quite alarmingly. I half expect it to break every time I use it, and I'm sure it will one of these days. Next time I buy a squeezer I'll shell out a bit more for a metal version.
