But it wets my hair! I have 2c to 3b hair and I get my hair blown out at times. My hair is long, past my shoulders. Yes, I pin up my hair and I tighten the cap, yet water still seeps in. It protects my hair from humidity, but not water! This cap is too expensive to do what a shower cap that costs much less than half would do! I’m so disappointed!3/3/19 Update from 1 Star to 5!The shower cap has been improved! My pictures show the old and new. The first picture is the caps side by side. The second picture is the old interior and the third the new (notice the pretty crystal, it has two). My original purchase was 2 years ago. It helped with humidity, but the back of my pinned hair and the nape of my neck was always wet. I had to wear a different shower cap over it. Even though the first wasn’t quoted right, it’s still lasted 2 years! I’ve never had a shower cap last this long.The new one is also great with humidity and keeps all of my hair dry. It has subtle improvements (such as the crystals I mentioned before). The band has a protective material that helps keep out water. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. This shower cap is worth the price. Turbella’s customer service is excellent and has gone above and beyond to make me happy!! After I wash it, I’ll update my review. So far so good!

I am so amazed at this product that I had to write a review right away. I really didn’t believe it would work, but wow! I have long, thick hair that I straighten everyday. It’s very time consuming. Some days I would just turn my shower on slightly and wash quickly so I don’t get my head wet. I was tired of that and started my search for a solution. This shower cap is it! I just took a long hot shower, and my hair is totally dry and still straight. This means I can sleep an extra half hour every morning!

I purchased this shower cap, used it often, and was very happy with it over the two months that followed. I found it to be comfortable and to do a great job of keeping my hair dry in the shower. And then one morning the elastic around the shower cap suddenly came apart, and I could not find a way to put it back together.I knew I could no longer return the shower cap to Amazon, so I contacted Turbella through their website to see if they could tell me how to fix it. I heard back from Leah at Turbella within a few hours (on a Sunday). She offered to send me a new shower cap and a postage-paid envelope so that I could return my original. My new shower cap showed up in the mail two days later.I'm glad that such a great product has excellent customer service to stand behind it.

I bought the Turbella 2-in-1 turban last year and have been happy with it. Recently, my pre-teen daughter has made it her own and it doesn’t look like she’s giving it back. Thus, this Turbella shower cap purchase. :)Let me just say that I probably dislike plastic shower caps more than the average (normal?) person. I pretty much hate how stiff and cheap they feel, the strange chemical smells, and having to throw them out and replace when the elastic dies. It’s a cycle of unpleasantness followed by waste that’s always bugged me. This shower cap does the job of keeping my medium-thick shoulder-length hair dry. Obviously, so do other shower caps. What I love is how this shower cap feels to wear. It’s a super soft fabric with zero stiffness. This shower cap is totally different from any other I’ve had. It’s a little luxury. I actually take it with me when I travel.

what a fantastic shower cap, sounds funny to make a big deal about a shower cap. but paying a lot of money for color, blow outs, etc, you want to protect that money you spent. this is the first show cap I found that actually keeps all water out even at the hair line where water tends to seep in. I would definitely recommend this product.

I’ve used my Superpower cap now for a few weeks and what can I say? I’m in love! I’ve never had luck with shower caps, which is bad news because drying my hair takes forever. My hair is almost to my waist and heavy to the point that it falls out of other shower caps I’ve tried. Then when I clipped my hair up, the shower caps would rise up so high that most of the back of my head/hair was exposed and got drenched. This one is a shower cap, but it’s like a reinvented shower cap. First, there’s LOTS of room inside to hold all my hair. Then the strap all around it keeps my hair inside. I pulled the strap about an inch to tighten it the first time I used it and haven’t adjusted it since. It feels weightless when it’s on and doesn’t let in a drop. It’s in a whole other category. What’s funny/shocking is this perfect shower cap is actually a gift from my boyfriend. Major points!!

I was excited about this shower cap because it’s made of a technical fabric brand I like. I bought a waterproof breathable jacket with 37.5 at REI a couple years ago. It’s my favorite soft shell for endurance sports because it’s very breathable so I don’t get as sticky and sweaty. Obviously I can’t wear my waterproof breathable jacket in the shower for my hair even though it has a hood!So I bought this 37.5 shower cap. My hairline goes pretty far down the back of my neck so it doesn’t cover that part completely, no shower cap does. That’s not a big deal for me because I face the shower and keep my head away from the spray anyway. It does a great job keeping my wavy hair from going frizzy. It’s way better than any other shower caps I’ve tried. I added a photo to show the difference between the shower cap and the usual ones.

I really wanted to focus on washing and styling my hair less which is why I decided to take the plunge and try this out because my hair is fine and easily gets humid and flat from showering and hard to preserve or restore style after that. I have used this a few times now and it is absolutely not any better than a regular $10 shower cap which is sad since I paid so much and unfortunately missed the window to return it. :( Oh well. At least I have a shower cap....sadly, I would not recommend this shower cap.
