Love Letters from Largs: Brodie and Celestina (Clan Grant, 3) MP3 CD – Unabridged, February 24, 2015

This storyline kept me entertained the whole way through. It was hard not to try and read it all the way through. But since I often read at night, sleep was a must.

I almost past on this one, because of the title. I had read another author about love letters and there was very little interaction between the character's in that story - all told through love letters which turned me off. This isn't like that and I am glad I read many of the reviews to discover the true story line.I agree with some of the reviewer's that it did drag and for that I give 4 stars. But, I enjoyed the character's so much especially Loki that it earned 5 stars. This couple are apart more than they are together, but when they are together it was magic. There is a lot of physical and mental abuse and you can almost figure out why her father hated her. SPOILER -----I thought she should have been angrier when she discovers information about her parents - END OF SPOILER!!The lovemaking was mildly described not vulgar. It was passionate for me because I really felt a connection to the H/h. I do believe in love at first sight and it seemed spot on to me.The character of Loki was amazing. He had much spunk, love and humor to the story and I really enjoyed the ending the Grants gave Loki, brought a huge smile to my face.There isn't a cliffhanger to this story for our main character's, but we are left wondering what happened to the middle brother Robbie, and I will be reading that next.This story is about abuse, but also much love, forgiveness has a lot of suspense, twists, and I enjoyed their journey to HEA that was filled with all kinds of bumps in the road, but much love too. You do not need to read the previous books to understand this one, but it will make the character's from those books have extra meaning in this one. (ljb)

I did enjoy the book, I learned a lot about Scottish history while reading the book because I have a habit of going to Wikipedia and looking things up, I even found that something I looked up involved my ancestors.Laird Alex Grant takes his brother Brodie among others with him when he is summoned by King Alexander III to discuss the defense of Scotland against the invasion of King Haakon of Norway. On their way there Brodie witnesses what he believes to be a young lady trying to kill herself by jumping from a tower but when he inquires at the home he is told no young lady lives there so he climbs the tree next to the tower to see for himself and finds the beautiful Celestina who has been locked in her room and sold to the highest bidder.I still enjoyed Brodie and Celestina's storyThe reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 starsAre the same as other people who had the spoiler alerts on them, no need to repeat, still worth reading

OMG!!!! Get ready for a Wild Ride!!!! I realized last night or shall I say early this morning at 3 am that I couldn't put this book down, to where at 7 am after getting my coffee I have to find out what happen next in the last 3 chapters. This story has it all..... Heartbreak, Laughter, Sorrow, Suspense, Tears of Joy ( yes this book made me cry with sadness but also with lots of happy tears) and Heated Battles.... but what also had a hold on me beside this twisted story of secrets is there is also a wonderful new Hero.... You'll read about Brodie Grant who is from the famous Grant Clan with the best and biggest Warriors and their famous Healer..... Lucky Loki is a hero in many ways, he maybe a child but he is clever, knowledgeable, fierce, funny and is very skilled with a Sling Shot, but his best quality and mission was to keep a close eye on Missy Angel. If you've read "Healing a Highlander's Heart" from the Clan Grant Series book 2, then you know you have to read book 3. You will not be disappointed, Keira Montclair didn't let me down, this book was totally Awesome!!! Plus the Epilogue was PERFECT!!!! But be prepared to laugh and cry at the same time...... Happy Reading

What a wonderful read. I so enjoyed the little lad and his love and kindness. I laughed and cried so much I had to put my tablet down. It was a great love story.

Wonderfully captivating. I do like knowing abusers can be toppled. How hopeless it was for Celestina to go from one abuser to another. But Brodie Grant might be her knight in beautiful plaid clan colors. Leastwise that is what Brodie wants along with the chance to go face her tormentor and his henchman. King and country and war have stopped Celestina & Brodie. Thankfully there is a traitor in the Kings following. Thankfully there is also a seller of information called Loki. Nope, he's not magical.Love how you aren't tied into buying more books in the series. They are emmeshed so deeply if you want to know what happened to so & so, you have to read every book in that line. Keira Montclair does not try to trick a person into buying every book in her repertoire. Love her for that. This is a stand alone book, and by her great period writing, bravery for writing about a taboo subject, bringing all together and making a happy ending for more than just the main characters. How hooked I am in K. Montclair's books.Thank-you Keira Montclair for creating strong supportive characters.

I just love this family, I love how fiercely they love, their devotion, their loyalty, their passion! I also really love how, even during a period in history when women had almost no rights, they have been portrayed in very strong roles in every book of the Clan Grant series. So exciting I couldn't put it down and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Clan Grant series book 3. Brodie story is gut wrenching at times. Beautiful and heartfelt. Trials and tribulations to even get to each other, to live to love. This was an awesome read.

I would like to recommend this to all others who like historical romanceAlso I like family books so to get to the next one

I really loved reading this book and I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series and I have found this book to be filled with lots of drama, lots of passion, lots of different emotions, danger, cruelty, sex, emotional abuse, hurt, bravery, intensity, sensuality, pain, patience, family, hurt, caring, hope , joy, steadfastness, trust, love, kindness, laughter, honour, great storyline, hot sexy highlanders, great history of Scotland, warmth and finally this book was a wonderful to read as well.

I am so impressed and absolutely delighted with this author's work. She has never disappointed me in her writing and what I admire the most is her unique way of writing each character stories. I have read many romance books from several authors and books that are part of series seems to have the same theme/plot, but Ms. Keira's books do not carry the same themes or plots. Of course, her books are all about romance and I so appreciate the fact she takes her time to write her stories in such a beautiful way that is captures the readers attention right from the very first word!Brodie and Celestina are two truly beautiful characters, both have their own pain and story but what I love about these two is that from the very start they know that "love at first sight" happens to some people and they did not deny their feelings throughout the book, if anything they confess their feelings from the very start.I love all the additional characters but my most favourite is Lucky Loki! He is such a little charmer and I am so glad both Brodie & Celestina adopted him at the end. He's a character to fall in love with!!Thanks for writing such beautiful stories!! I look forward to reading many many more books of Ms. Keira!!

Wow fantastic a romantic thrilling and fast pace story. Loved this book made me smile so many times, celastine and brodie what a romance , love at first sight and scorching passion they were meant to be and although they have a troubled beginning and have to survive men who wish ill to them both,their love will conquer all and war will separate them and people will try to keep them apart. Lucky Loki well my heart flowed with love for him and thought what a wonderful character he was loved him laughed and cried for him so well written and would say read this series and you'll love it. A great author and well written , would have given it ten stars if I could. 😍
