The writing seems like it may be translated from a different language. Either that or the author is trying and failing to translate his conversational tone to a formal/technical voice. The phrasing is just awkward, with things that no native English speaker would say conversationally or write in a formal or technical piece. In any case, you'll need to set extra time aside to figure out what the writer means at times and the odd language may make some of the projects impossible without consulting other references.

And if u ever need help sitting up your raspberry pi. this books is for u it gives u everything. u need to know about Raspberry pi. also it is a whole community of people that will give u step by step help also.

This book will teach you a lot about setting up a computer, different components and when to use an Sims card.I never knew that gamers use raspberry PI to set up. For example , Nintendo, and I would assume other games on the computer.A bit confusing to someone who knows nothing about computers but are willing to learn.

With the way technology rules almost everything, knowing programming is a very important skill to have. This book makes that possible and easy to learn.

Amateur publication sloppily assembled. Poorly formatted and barely readable. When writing Python code, for instance, the indenting of lines is part of the grammar of the programming language. Not only are many of the lines of example code not indented, some lines of code aren't even separated. The photos, screen shots and illustrations are all but unintelligible.

The book badly needed the attention of a good editor, both to catch typos and to improve the organization. There is useful information in the book but the writing is very rambling. More illustrations would have been helpful.

I wanted to stream music to a Bluetooth receiver that feeds a stereo system. The pi works great for this. I'm impressed

Good as an intro to RPi, but not much beyond that.Limited value.
