There is also a noticable difference in reduced lag with 2 computers gaming at the same time. I think this is attributed to the 2000mhz bandwidth. At&t has fiber running into my house then Cat5e from the node to router. I replaced that 100mbps cable with this 40Gbps cable also the cable running from the router to the Gigabit switch in the attic. The rest are Cat6 cables that I personally previously ran because Cat5e is way under rated for Gigabit service. Well worth the time and money to stabilize service and reduce slow downs. Eventually everything will be Cat8. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Difference between cat6 and cat8 *by on Reviewed in the United States March 24, 2026* I'm sure it is a great product however I'm just now realizing that cat8 is different from cat6. As a consumer I just didn't know that a cat8 is more designed for numerous users and it is overkill for the common gamer/remote worker. I've been bottlenecking myself lol. If you only need this for one or two devices, make sure you get the cat6. Looking back I have purchased three cat8's in the last 2 years and now I'm going to be replacing them all. This because I'm realizing my Wi-Fi is faster than my ethernet and I'm thinking that I'm in the upside down. Thank you Google. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality *by on Reviewed in the United States July 3, 2026* Perfect --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/201763298-yauhody-cat-8-ethernet-cable-1-5ft-2-pack-40gbps](https://www.desertcart.be/products/201763298-yauhody-cat-8-ethernet-cable-1-5ft-2-pack-40gbps) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
