I use an iPhone So you could have one alarm strategy named un occupied and another named occupied. Then just change the strategy for the one(s) that are occupied. **Q: Would a ceiling fan set the motion sensor off, making it signal that there is motion in room, even though no person is in room?** A: I have several in my house, garage and barn. The one at the front door sends notification of visitors and turns on lights. The one in the barn just turns on two sets of lights. These sensors have different levels of sensitivity settings that I had to experiment with to get it to works the way I wanted it to. Try one and if the fan sets it off try moving it or adjusting the sensitivity levels. You will also need a YoLink hub for all you sensors and switches. I have 25 different types of Yo-link devices ( water leaks, motion. temperature, humidity, light switches) I monitor 3 barns for motion inside and 3 for temp/ humid, , greenhouse temps and humidity, 2 sump pumps, 2 ejector pumps, next to washing machine, under all sinks, in mailbox, on long drive entrance, in my pond.
