Disappointed, as it is not really 1200 lumens.
So I have several bike lights that are between 300 and 500 lumens. When I saw this one stating 1200 lumens I was very happy to purchase for this price. When it got dark I compared it to the ones I had and found that is was really no brighter. Plus the center bright dot was very narrow and not much side throw either. So bike lights need two things, side throw directly in front of your front tire and then an nice wide beam to focus out in front of you in your path. This one has a very narrow beam with almost no side throw. Certainly for the price I will just use it as another flashlight but as for a 1200 lumen bike light it really suffers terribly. The 500 lumen one I use now actually throws more usable light in front of me. I bike a lot and really wanted a nice bright light that would really let cars and other know that I am coming down the road. I will keep looking for a brighter light. The pictures the vendor used showing the brightness of the light were really over done. It was no where near as bright as that. If it were as bright as that I would be writing an entirely different and more favorable review. Really disappointing when they ramp it up just to sell the product. Either I got a defective device or someone isn't living up to their promise. You make the choice.

I had a problem with the product and I wrote it for the customer service and they fixed the problem. I am so happy how thoughtful they are. I installed the new light on my bike and I like it.

Sturdy and shiny shiny shiny shiny...shiny!! Finally!
It a cool bike light, really handy because it has a torch shape.And...is really shiy! Could get downhill in dark roads without foreseeing all the street holes. This works well, it has a 10° range of high insensity light plus a 160° minor light range, and also the strobo modewarns cars pretty effectively!Only thing is it should be programmed that when running out of battery the light fades in low light modeinstead of shutting down: that could end risky when biking down at 30mph in the dark. Other than that, it's beenworth buying.

Very bright
This flashlight fits on any bike that we have, the battery lasts a long time. It has some huge odd size battery and so far since we charged it 2 weeks ago, it still works well. My son got dibs on it and according to him, this is the best flashlight he has owned for a bike.

Very good light for night biking....cars WILL see you
Purchased this light on Jan. 4, 2019I'm using this light for night bicycling and like it very much. It's very bright and it's very hard for car drivers, other bicyclists, etc to not see (assuming that they're paying attention in the first place). I especially like the fact that the light is made of solid aluminum - no junky plastic! In contrast to other reviewers, I didn't have any issues with removing the light from the mount on the handlebars. There was a minor defect, in that the rubber cover to the USB connection port disconnected, and the vendor promptly provided a replacement. I worked directly with them, instead of through Amazon. Two minor suggestions for the future:1. The USB connection port on the light is smaller than it is on popular laptops. Please consider changing this.2. Perhaps adjust the rubber cover to the USB connection port so that my issue is completely excluded.Sept. 8, 2019Several times, now the light has simply turned off while I was biking. I would turn it back on, and within a few minutes, it would turn off again! Hence,. I began to charge it on a daily basis - just in case.Today, with a freshly charged battery, it again repeatedly shut off while biking at night (pretty dangerous). Now, at this point I have two of the same lights (read above) and so I compared their batteries: they differed by 1 - 2 mm in height!! The "shorter" battery was the one which would not stay on this evening. Please see photos.Does 1 - 2 mm in height make a difference? In any case, the quality control on the batteries could be better. Will extending the spring on the (+) end of the battery case help the bad contact? We will see.Dec. 1, 2019:I use two of these lights while biking - one is a backup. The charge seems to hold longer at lower temperatures. Recharging can however take longer than the three hours which the manufacturer has claimed.I'm still very pleased with their performance.March 16, 2020:After 14 months of frequent use, both of my Wasa-lights continue to perform very well. For all cases, I keep both fully charged with me during my work commute. The rubber covering over the on/off switch fell off a while back, but it doesn't matter.

Outstanding aluminum waterproof spot light and scooter headlight! Super bright!
Wonderful light. Used it for 2 hours straight highest brightness and battery had plenty of juice left. I use it for my electric scooter, held up in the rain just fi e. Let me tell you after riding in bike lanes, this light is brighter than passing cars and trucks... You will be seen! Metal is made of bigh quality grade aluminum so it wont rust. Each module is sealed with a rubber o-ring and the usb charge port is sealed with a tight rubber pad, perfect! This flashlight goes with me to work as well... Love it!

Super bright, wide beam
Perfect for my biking - probably a bit too bright on high for biking, but great as a flashlight , the low setting is fine for night riding. And the flash mode is perfect for daylight heads-up to oncoming traffic. The battery lasts a few hours, and is easy to recharge - or have a spare ready to go.
