This product is well thought through!Pros:1. It's IPX3 waterproof (The first time I took this out on a camp was raining and boy am I glad this puppy is at least IPX3 waterproof)2. Has a SOS light pattern built in3. Ability to zoom light focus in and out4. Lantern with spring instead of plastic (kuddos kuddos)5. The hook design is great!Cons:1. If the product had some rubber grip on the outside, it would be easier to handle and won't drop as easy.2. The infographic instruction is a little bit confusing (see picture)3. If the product's orange case could be a little bit transparent, it could act as a warning light.In a nutshell:The day after I received the package, I took it out on a camp.It is a great little thing to have in your jacket pocket at night, specially when it be transformed into a lantern.Specially on raining days, it would be greatly appreciated if there were some rubber grips on the item itself.

Decent lantern, collapsible and not too heavy. Provided just enough light at my campsite and was very bright inside my tent. Doubling as a zoom-able flashlight is a neat feature as well.Only downside is the hook on the top is very flimsy, I ended up breaking it on accident and replaced it with a loop of paracord.

Works great but does not stay closed and compact when not in use. Seems durable as I dropped it 3 times and it still works.

Supercool, well-designed and true to it's description. I only used it a couple times, but it's a little bit tricky to change into a flashlight adn so I hope it holds up. That said the filtered versus directed light option on the lantern incarnation is really neat, the magnetized end and hanging hook make this an incredible deal. The fact you need to hold down the on/off switch for 2 seconds to turn on is brilliant too(pun intended.) I mean how many flashlights etc. have you lost because the switch turned on. Hey designers, if you're listening bravo! Nice work! Now fix the small switches for the blind and big-fingered.

It works great, but the piece on the bottom fell in so it was hard to close again

Although it's not waterproof, this lantern is very versatile and will be very useful camping and during power outages.

Nice and bright for a small light! Very happy with it and I'd like to get a few more!

I just received this today. Installed batteries and gave it a try. All three modes (adjustable flashlight, hanging lantern, table-top lamp) work just as advertised.Wow! This little lantern is ingenious and totally cool. Assuming it holds up over time, as I believe it will, this will get lots of use in our home and on our trips.
