While I didn't expect dead accuracy at this range, I had to laugh when I realized the display doesn't even go above 3 digits! Thus it is impossible for it to show its claimed range of 1472 F! Giving the item the benefit of the doubt I went ahead and tried it on Celsius alongside a known type K thermo-couple. We heated the Aluminum up past 1300F (around 704C) and this unit never read above 300C. Tried a few reads at lower temps (60-90 F) and it seemed equally erroneous. Sometimes even reading a difference of 20 degrees on the same items. Item is already packed up and headed back to Amazon. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use & Accurate *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2019* I am absolutely loving this thermometer gun!! I'm actually mad that I didn't get one of these years ago because they make cooking so much easier! It was so ready to use, all I had to do was point it and pay the button and it displays the temp on the screen. The display is pretty big so there was no issue seeing anything on the screen and it would be perfect for someone older or with bad vision. I also actually compared the temperature shown with that from a normal thermometer and it was right on perfect! This is do much easier than trying to stick a regular thermometer into your good in the oven or having to pull it out to check the temp. It is also going to be perfect for using my smoker to both tell her the internal temp of the smoker and to tell me the temperature or the meat. I would recommend this for sure and I actually think I'm going to buy one more to use see my mom's house for holiday cooking! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Good Product *by M***B on Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2019* The most important thing to understand is that this is accurate above anything else. It is easy to use. The only thing that was slightly confusing was the Bluetooth App; mostly because the instructions weren’t clear on setting it up or pairing the testing unit with the phone. Still, with a little diligence you’ll sort it out and then it is an outstanding combination.
