Read discription and measurements 1st
It's definitely not a king mattress protector, it's more so for a baby cot or half a baby cot to be specific. So definitely pay attention to the size in the description. It's washable, although I expected a waterproof layer and it still very absorbant and protected my kids bed as I placed it under the sheet where they usually lay so not good if your child moves about a lot as size wise it may miss this protected as it's small in size
