Stylish comfort
I was looking for an "urban walker" that was a little dressy. These fit the bill, working well with dress pants as well as jeans. At first glance they look somewhat conventional but on closer inspection are fairly unique and pretty hip; they get frequent unsolicited compliments so I don't appear to be alone in the opinion. For slip-ons, they fit very securely due to the hidden elastic gores. No regrets on this purchase.

Purchased for my husband and he is very happy with the fit and style of these walking shoes. He usually wears Merrils and is not easily persuaded to try other brands but I gave them to him out of the box; thinking they were his regular 'brand' he put them on & pronounced them 'excellent': comfortable with good support.

I will probably never switch away from these shoes - they are amazing. I typically put in 6-7 miles a day in my job, and my feet feel great at the end of the day. I also own a pair of Tsubo Macen Black lace-ups that are equally outstanding shoes.

Highly recommend all Tsubos
I walked over 25 miles in 1 week throughout the city of Budapest. Highly recommend all Tsubos, but especially the Macen. Fit was perfect for my somewhat wide feet and not a single irritation or blister even when brand new.
