The Trophy Bag Kooler game bag protects the hide and meat of your harvested game. Keeping your harvest cool is paramount to preventing spoilage and the Trophy Bag Kooler does just that. The bag has a durable, 600D polyester outer shell and an antimicrobial liner that helps to prevent mold and mildew. Deer, antelope, hogs, and turkeys, can be placed in the bag and then iced down with bagged ice or our KoolerGel Ice Extender (preferred method) to keep the carcass at a temperature of 36 to 40 degrees. The Trophy Bag Kooler is reusable and has the durability to last for years. For the cleaner, neater solution to transporting game from the field to the processor or taxidermist, you need the Trophy Bag Kooler. It’s the original short-term portable storage unit for transporting harvested game or aging meat. The Trophy Bag Kooler can hold up to 300 pounds in harvested game.

The only problem with this cooler is that I didn't buy it YEARS ago
I am kicking myself that I did not buy this cooler as soon as I discovered it. I used it for the first time this past weekend while deer hunting in West Texas. The temperatures in TX vary greatly. It can be 95 degrees during the day and fall to the 30s at night. So you can't just leave a deer or hog hanging. I finally don't have to worry about having to either quit hunting to rush a deer or hog to the processor or wasting time skinning and quartering the animal so it will fit into a hard cooler. I can spend more time actually hunting. The capacity of this cooler is a lot greater than it appears.I may have been pushing the limits of what it can hold. But I fit a doe, an 8-point buck and a 75lb hog into it. Only the buck's legs would fit through the leg holes. But I folded the does legs up and laid the hog sideways on the side that doesn't have the antler hole. I got the doe on Saturday morning, the buck on Sunday morning and the hog on Sunday evening. If I had to spend the time running to the processor or quartering the buck I would not have had the time in the stand that it took to harvest all of these animals. I put frozen 1-gallon water jugs into the chest cavities and put 2 gel packs inside of each and on top of the jugs to help keep the ice from melting. Worked like a champ. The cleanup was very easy. I just hosed it out, washed it out with dish soap and brushed the outside with dish soap and a scrub brush. It took 5 minutes. Hung the cooler to dry, folded it up and put it back in the carrying bag. It doesn't take up much space in my truck either. It folds up small enough to put inside another cooler. Loving this thing. Probably going to buy another one and more gel packs.

Straps not strong enough
Maintains temperature well. Insulation gets caught in the zipper well. Biggest problem is straps tore when lifting game into trucks. Straps need to be reinforced with extra stitching.

Really nice but I stuck out this year so have not tested it fully. Feel confident it will do the job though.

The best easy to use game system on the market.
I have used the Trophy Bag Kooler Game Bag as well as the Square Bags both Large and Small in conjunction with the Gel for maintaining a cool temperature with out the creation of excess moisture when using ice which promotes growth in bacteria. Most recently, I harvested a Texas Dahl Ram whose meat is to be used for a Legislative wildgame reception for members of the Oklahoma Legislature. I traveled to a ranch in the East Central part of the state of Oklahoma. Because of travel plans requiring me to prepare for travel the night before my departure, I filled the Trophy Bag Kooler Square Bag with frozen bottles of gel on Thursday evening and placed the sealed bag in my vehicle. The ranch I was traveling to had no electricity requiring that I take my source of coolness with me. I traveled on Friday, harvesting the Ram on Saturday. After skining and quartering the Ram, I covered the meat with the Game Fresh Spray to inhibit any uneccesary bacteria growth and wrapped the meat in plastic and place in the Square Bag together with the frozen Gel Bottles. Within three hours the temperature in the Bag was at 36 degreees and remained at that temperature for 5 additional days without adding any additional refrigerant or cooling device with absolutely no melting of the frozen Gel and no observable bacterial growth. This allowed the meat to age properly and reach a maximum of tenderness. The chef who received the meat was amazed at the quality and tenderness of the meat and looked forward to preparing a sumptious offering to the Legislators.I have used the game or deer bag for over 5 years to age, transport , and protect the deer, antelope, bear, turkey, and elk I have harvested with no disappointing results and have always delivered my wildgame meat to the meat processor in pristince condition without loss of meat or having to take any additional efforts to add coolant other than the frozen gel bottles to maintain a constant internal temperature within the bag of 34-39 degrees even in weather conditions exceeding 100 degrees over periods of time ranging from as short as 2 days up to seven days in length. I have found no better products for the true sportsman who cares as much about his table fare as he does his Trophy.

3 years of use and counting
I purchased a Trophy Bag Kooler 3 years ago. I use the bag to keep whitetail deer kill's cool while hunting the early bow season. I am very impressed of the way it keeps the game at a lower temperature, and the gel packs retain frozen longer. The key to keeping large game from having a gamey taste is to age it for at least 3 days/100lbs at 35-39F, and the bag allows you to do that with the whole animal. It would be nice if the bag had the option to have the leg holes side-by-side in the back, so the game could be hung on a gambriel with it's hind legs. Another feature that would be helpful is heavy duty zippers that can close off the leg holes, along with the cinch straps. Trying to cinch down on 2 legs sticking out of a leg hole, still allows for cold air to escape and insects like flies to get in. Now I just take off the legs below the joint, and close the leg holes off completely. The bag also allows you to carry your game descreetly on a hitch carrier, so the tree huggers and bunny lovers are not offended.

Trophy Bag Kooler Kick it!
I have used these bags for over 3 years and the quality of the product and the people behind the product are above reproach. Combined with ice and KoolerGelI have had many game processors astonished at the insulation of these bags and the effectiveness of keeping things cold and clean!! I would recommend this to anyone that plans to transport wild game after harvesting to ensure safe and clean delivery.

Hogs and Deer in my bag
My Trophy Bag Kooler Game Bag has been in use for 3 years now and hopefully for many more. I have used for deer and hog transport and works ideally with South Texas radical temp changes...... freezing nights and 80 degree days. No meat spoilage, ample room for a deer and easy to wash clean. "It's in the bag"Wayne/Hockley, TX
