Needed to add Wi-Fi card to pre built PC, but the included RGB took up the only spare USB header. This was fine for me cause RGB is dumb, but the wife said "I miss the pretty colors" so since I wanted to keep both Wi-Fi and Wife this was the solution. 60 second install and both Wi-Fi and RGB worked flawlessly.

You're like me. You just bought a new case with fancy RGB fans that require a USB header to program. You've got an AIO that takes up a USB header. And your power supply needs a header as well. That's three headers required and your motherboard only has two. You're looking for a reputable internal splitter that doesn't suck. This is it. This is the adapter you're looking for. Works right out of the box with whatever internal USB devices you need. I personally split my power supply (that reads my wattage input/usage) and AIO and it works great. Overall would highly recommend.

I have an ITX motherboard with only one USB 2.0 header but needed two because I have an AIO cooler as well as a fan hub due to the lack of fan headers on the motherboard. I was skeptical about this because I wasn't sure if it could support two devices running two PWM fans at the same time (I knew it would provide power but wasn't sure about data.) However, I was pleasantly surprised after I installed this and all four fans were powered and reporting data back to their respective control programs. Highly recommended if you are short a 2.0 header.

Have an AIO and a Thermaltake fan that needed a USB and also the motherboard header from the case. This little thing has gone in all 3 computers! Works great all seem to work together has been months since I got them and love them!

Needed another port for connecting RGB Corsair fans to get the color working on iCUE, as my motherboard only had 2 of what I needed. This does its job and is worth the price!

exactly what I needed, motherboard only has two ports for USB, and now days all the cpu cooler controllers take up a spot, I am able to have the wifi pcie card plugged into USB to get the use of Bluetooth, and have the cpu cooler rgb connected on the same line. works great.
