I have a chair creeper for my garage and had hell finding wheels for it, until I found these wheels almost a perfect fit. I had to add a washer but I’m back in business now.

Caster works great for luggage. The outer layer of rubber has plenty of grip and is relatively quite when rolling over rough surfaces like sidewalks and even asphalt. It has two bearings, one placed on either side of the wheel axle. The bearings are smooth and have very little play. I've taken the luggage on a number of trips and the bearings are well sealed, no grease has leaked out. Anticipate the wheel outliving the luggage, sturdier than the original wheels, which had a thinner layer of rubber that eventually wore off.

I bought this as a necessary replacement for a great piece of NORTH FACE luggage that has survived many trips over multiple continents, and whose wheels were the first thing to degrade.I'm still assessing the durability, to see how resistant to scratches/cuts/wear it is. I live in NYC, so it takes a meaningful amount of sidewalk and transit abuse on its way to any train or plane.Am inclined to pick up some silicon wheel covers for it, to extend its lifespan (and maybe also reduce noise on harder surfaces), but for the moment I'm curious about how battle-ready it is.Have to say, this is an upgrade over the original casters, which weren't shabby to begin with. I will definitely consider ordering more, to upgrade other luggage in the future.
