Really awesome lesson in flexibility
I really love this DVD. I have to pause it a lot to get system down, but who cares. It's awesome and it works! I'm a 41 year old female who has always dreamed of practicing martial arts of any kind! :-) At first I was not so flexible, but I listened to this guy and took notes. Now, 3 months later, I'm almost sitting on the floor! (FYI, I practice every day). I can't tell you how strong my legs feel and LOOK. My gluts are to die for. This blows the Brazilian butt lift out of the water! All my friends are constantly asking me about my workouts as they can't believe the transformation.I will do this routine for the rest of my life, I'm sure. Not only will I stay in shape, but I'll be beyond flexible! A total win-win if you ask me!Also, the seller was quick with shipping. All around, I'm quite pleased.

Bad re-make of the previous DVD
Kurz has developed a great methodology. He didn't invent it himself, but he analyzed a lot of literature, and introduced the scientific approach to the public. The problem is that this DVD contains very little new information to justify the steep price. Isometric and dynamic stretching, as well as importance of squats for flexibility was covered extensively in his book Stretching Scientifically, and previous version of Flexibility Express DVD (I have both, and love them). So if you don't have either book or previous DVD - you will probably appreciate some parts of this DVD (I still think the old one was filmed a lot better). I was really looking forward to see how they applied the isometric stretching methodology to back stretches and bridges. They didn't! He shows only simple static stretches - like Swiss ball stretches, hindu push-ups, or simple wall stretch. Youtube is full of these videos where people with incredible flexibility show you how they do it , and expect you to be able to repeat it. He neither gave any analysis or pointed-out common problems (limitations) people may encounter, or showed how to incorporate this stretch into the workout. In the previous DVD he was actually teaching principles and physiology of stretching, he made an important connection between strength and flexibility. In this DVD he just shows a bunch of stretches, mostly things he already covered elsewhere.
